Hisashiburi Minna-sama~! *bows* gomen for taking soo looong~ got caught up with my studies~ XDD been really out… stuck with all the paper works.. But I’m having my 1 week break now.. so yeah, I’ll update as soon as I can.. please don’t kill me for not telling everyone that I was on a big super hiatus these past few months~ *bricks my head* hope you like this update of mine.. I’m trying to continue my other fics~ so ganbaremasu~! *bows*

Summary: When his high school holds its yearly crazy Yoosei (Fairy/Genie) Special Week, Jin becomes the “Meijin” of the boy of his dreams, Kamenashi Kazuya, the baseball heartthrob captain makes his wishes his commands as shy, clumsy, studious Akanishi Jin suddenly finds himself being one of DOKIDOKI HIGH’s wildest couple with Kazuya. But will his cute fairy little turtle go back to doing his gorgeous girlfriend, Minami’s command when Yoosei Special Week comes to an end? Maybe if Jin wishes hard enough, Kazuya will still be his when the week is over.

Chapter 1: The surprise!

Chapter 2: The Yoosei and the Meijin

“OH! Shit! Ryo-chan! Jin faints!” YamaPi shrieked like a girl who was almost touched by a flying cockroach as he saw his best friend fell from his seat.

“What?!” Ryo said out loud. “He what?!”

“You sure sucks, Ryo-chan! Are you deaf?! I said Jin faints!” YamaPi hissed irritably at Ryo as he held his unconscious friend.

“Eh? Why did he faint?” The short older boy asked in confusion with furrowed eyebrows.

YamaPi sighed exasperatedly as he almost slapped his forehead because of his other best friend’s numbness. “How am I suppose to know that? This is your entire fault.”

“What?! What did I do?” Ryo asked frowning; he looked away as if trying to be the innocent one.

“Well, this is your id—” YamaPi didn’t had the chance to finish what he was about to say when Ryo suddenly ran towards him and Jin, almost bumping their heads. “Ryo-chan~what the—”

“Shut up!” Ryo hissed. “We need to wake this dumb ass up ‘coz his little turtle is coming! LOOK!”

YamaPi looked up and followed the direction where Ryo’s finger was pointing. His eye comically went wide as he saw Kamenashi Kazuya approaching them and turned back to his friends, one still unconscious, and one with a mischievous smirk.

“What are you smirking for?” The younger one asked as he arched an eyebrow. He knew the other was planning something evil and naughty.

“What? Is it a crime to smirk now?” Ryo smirked again widely which only made YamaPi shook his head in doubt. “On the second thought, we should just get going now. It’s almost time for class. You don’t want us to be late, right?” The older boy said meaningfully as he stood up and smiled even more.

YamaPi was now staring at his friend with incredulous eyes. “What?! We’re going to leave Jin here? Unconscious?! What kind of friend are you?!”

“Well, I’m his bestiest best friend he could ever have!” Ryo proudly said as he dramatically put his right hand on his chest.

“You’re hopeless.” YamaPi sighed.

“Just shut up, Pi. Let’s get out of here and let prince turtle-kun wake up his little pig princess.” Ryo pulled and dragged YamaPi out of the auditorium.

“You’re so evil and mean, Ryo-chaaaaaan~!” YamaPi pouted as he was being dragged out of the place.

“I know~ I know~ I’m the sexy evil mean Osaka man. Bwhahaha~!” Ryo laughed devilishly.

The two boys left the auditorium and also leaving their still unconscious friend lying on the floor.

“Jin…”

What a beautiful angelic voice… Jin unconsciously smiled as he kept on listening to the melodious voice which was calling his name. It sounds like Kazu-chan’s voice~ Lah~ lah~ lah~ He smiled even widely and giggled as he kept his eyes closed as if he was dreaming. He raised his right hand, trying to grasp for something, he had wished he could touch his Kazuya’s soft smooth face, those brown eyes that always stare at him with gentleness, the cute nose, the soft kissable li—Wait. Jin stopped as he felt his hand caressing a soft thing.

“Jin…?”

I’m just dreaming, right? Jin asked to no one in his head. But… why is that voice sounds so real?

“Jin…?”

What the heck? Why is that voice sounds so close and soooo true?! And what is this I’m touching? So soft… Jin furrowed his eyebrows but still not opening his eyes as he thought it was all just a dream. It’s like I’m touching Kazu-chan’s kissable lips~ He smiled and giggled once again.

“Anooo… Jwin? Khen hiyou remouve yhour hand hon my lips?” A voice interrupted Jin’s reverie.

Jin snapped his eyes open and it comically went wide as he saw a certain person leaning closely at him with his right hand on that person’s lips.

“Ka-Ka-Ka—” Jin stuttered as he kept staring at the person in front of him, namely his crush, Kamenashi Kazuya. He was gaping like a fish and when he came back to his senses, he noticed that his hand was still on the younger boy’s lips; he blushed and quickly took away his hand embarrassingly.

“So—Sorry.” He apologized, quickly stood up before grabbing his bag and bentou and ran away from the confused young boy.

“Hey, wait up!” Kazuya called out but the older boy had already walked away from him like he has some flu or something.

Baka! Baka! Baka! Why didn’t you notice it wasn’t a dream?! You’re totally a Bakanishi, JIN! Jin stupidly smacked his head while walking faster than a normal person had. And you’re totally busted! Why are you touching his lips!!! YOU ARE SO STUPID! He once again smacked his head.

“Itai~” Jin hissed in pain when he hit his head harder than before and caressed it.

The older boy was busy talking to himself that he didn’t even noticed that someone had already blocked his way out before he can even reach the big door of their auditorium.

“Your wish is my command, fair Meijin-san~” A voice came in which once again interrupted Jin’s talking-to-himself moments.

Jin looked up and almost bumped into the person in front of him. “Eh?”

Kazuya approached or plainly stopped Jin who was trying, unsuccessfully, to slip out of the auditorium. His beautiful eyes crinkled a little bit with amusement as he looked at the older boy, unaware of Jin’s cringing embarrassment. Jin prayed really hard that younger wouldn’t guess what he felt about him.

“Nee, Jin-kun,” Jin heard the Kazuya said with gentleness, “You don’t mind, do you? Your friends told me about it being a surprise for your birthday and all. I think it’s a great idea, really neat—having your very own yoosei. They must think you’re something to come up with an idea like this.”

“Y-yeah,” Jin mumbled, ducking his head to rearrange the suddenly awkward weight of his bag and bentou.

The younger boy watched the older man’s clumsy movements with amusement.

Before Jin could stop the younger one, Kazuya had snatched his things out of his arms, ignoring his protests.

“I-I c-can carry them on my own.” Jin tried to reason out as he tried also to get his things but the younger boy shook his head with a smile.

“Might as well start being useful right now,” Kazuya told him with a beam. “How would it look, you carrying your own books with your Yoosei standing empty-handed beside you?”

“But—you see… It’s heavy and I’m bigger than you, I can carry them.” Jin pointed out hesitantly and as soon as he saw the younger one’s sudden pout he regretted what he just said.

STUPID! Why do you have to say those things?! Jin almost palmed his face.

Kazuya pouted as he held the older boy’s bag and bentou. “I know I’m a bit—well, I know I’m skinny but that doesn’t mean I can’t handle heavy things.”

AAHH! I can’t take this anymore! Why does he have those cute pouting face?! Jin’s mind screamed hysterically.

Jin recollected his sane mind, sighed and looked straightly at those brown orbs. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean it like that.” The older man flashed an awkward smile. “If you really insist on carrying my stuffs, okay, I’ll let you.” Jin saw slowly and shiny how the younger boy smiled widely and brightly at him.

OH! GOSH! MY EYES! Jin tried not to faint once again. He really doesn’t want to look stupid anymore in front of his crush! Definitely NOT AGAIN!

They rounded the corner of the building silently, but Jin sometimes stole glances at the boy beside him whose smile didn’t leave his lips. They drifted out into the courtyard that was the center of the classrooms and offices making up Dokidoki High. Metal colorful benches were placed along a juniper hedge, which framed the concrete patio, where several groups of kids were already gathered together, still discussing about the auction and for the upcoming events.

Jin was feeling unconscious every minute and seconds that he didn’t noticed that the younger boy already led the way over a vacant bench.

Kazuya placed the older man’s things on the bench and waited for the other to sit but he became confused when the other walked passed him.

“Eh?” The younger boy tilted his head in confusion. “Jin! Where are you going?”

The older man snapped out of his daze. “Huh?” He looked around stupidly to search where Kazuya was but he furrowed his eyebrows as he can only see trees, grass, benches and random students.

“If you just turn around, you can see me ne.” Kazuya chuckled.

Jin turned around and saw how beautiful the younger one sitting on the bench. He blushed when the other still kept on chuckling wholeheartedly while motioning him to sit down beside him.

“S-stop laughing,” He mumbled, looking away to hide his scarlet cheeks.

Kazuya looked up amused. “Sorry.”

There was an awkward silence as soon as Jin sat beside the younger boy.

“Uhm,” Kazuya broke the silence, he turned to Jin and smiled genuinely which only made the older boy shook a little. “There are still a few minutes before the bell. I thought we could… you know, go over any ideas you might have—see if you can come up with some really dirty jobs for me.” He grinned seductively.

OH! Shit! I think I’m going to die right now~ Jin’s mind was twirling madly inside his head.

Jin knew the other was teasing him, but even if it was all in fun, he couldn’t help but felt resentful toward Ryo and YamaPi. What made them think Kazuya would like him just because he was stuck with him for the whole week? They were too different—he wasn’t Kazuya’s type at all, and even more, he’s a guy! And he is sure that the younger boy was totally straight! Why? All anyone had to do was take a look at the one of the hottest girls in their school, MINAMI to see that! Somehow… knowing that Kazuya was being such a good sport about the whole thing only made Jin feel worse.

“I-I don’t know, K-Kamenashi-kun.” Jin tried to think of something humorous to say, scratching his head awkwardly, but unfortunately nothing like that came out. “I n-never expected anything like this. I guess I’ll have to think about it.”

He looked up to see what will be the younger boy’s response but when he saw the other frown a little bit, he almost went hysterical. You screw it all up again, Bakanishi! He told himself stupidly.

“First off, I think you should drop the formalities ne, Jin. Just call me Kazuya.” The younger boy said. “We’re going to be with each other for the whole week so no need to be so formal ne?” Kazuya smiled.

“O-Okay.” Jin once again blushed.

“I bet if we put our heads together, we could come up with something crazy enough to win the prize for the best stunt at Friday’s parade.” Kazuya piped in cheerfully.

Jin had forgotten about the Yoosei Parade, when the whole school turned out to watch the YOOSEIs and MEIJINs perform their best routines in costume. There were prizes for the best costumes, as well as ones for the most unique spectacular act, best teamwork, and best all-around couple.

“Maybe,” He answered, but his doubts sounded in his voice. What could he—clumsy, studious straight-A student Akanishi Jin—possibly dream up that would be crazy enough to earn a prize?

“It’s funny,” The younger boy observed, as if echoing Jin’s thoughts, “but I never thought I’d end up with someone like you.”

Jin flushed, needled by the other’s honesty. He didn’t know what to feel but the only thing he can confirm was his fast beating heart. “W-We don’t have to go through with it, K-Kazuya. I’ll just tell my friends I changed my mind. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea after a—”

“Hey!” Kazuya cut him off. “Wait a minute! That isn’t what I meant.” Jin heard Kazuya chuckled openly once again. “I guess, on my own dumb way, I was just trying to say you’re the last person I would have thought needed a funny accessory like me hanging around. You always seem so”—the younger boy paused for second, groping for the right word—“knowledgeable, skilled, talented! That’s it! That’s something I admire. Honest.”

Jin couldn’t tell from the other’s expression whether or not he was just making it up to save his feelings. Kazuya’s clear deep brown hazel eyes gazed at him with seriousness for a change; Jin felt a strange tingling sensation at being so close to the younger boy. He wanted to tell him how he hated his “knowledgeable, skilled, talented” image, how he longed to be more like Kazuya— sociable, cool, and fun-loving—but, of course, he could never confide it to the other like that.

Kazuya cocked his head to one side with a look that was halfway between serious and teasing. “You know we could really make a good pair. With your brains and skills along with my reputation”—Jin saw a sexy grin from the younger boy’s lips which made his heart once again jumped high.—“I know we can really come out on top this week ne…” Kazuya continued.

Though Jin was trying to calm his jumping and fast beating heart, he felt the first flutter of excitement when he heard what the other said. “You really think so?” He asked consciously.

“UN! I know it!”

Jin caught her lower lip between his teeth. “Ok, K-Kazuya. I really will try to think of something. I promise.”

“Great!” The younger boy was so close; Jin could see the tiny splinters of gold in Kazuya’s hazel eyes. He felt a strange sensation in his chest, as if there were a string there and someone had plucked it. “I’m counting on you, Jin. Don’t let us down.” He liked the way Kazuya had said ‘us’ instead of ‘me’. The invisible string in his chest gave another jingle.

Just then, the bell rang. Kazuya stood up. He towered over Jin who just looked up at him—a slim petite 5 feet and 3 inches tall boy—though the older boy knew he was 3 inches taller than the other, he just couldn’t get his eyes onto that slender body. With his white suit costume off, Kazuya’s hair stood out in crinkly, brown-strike blonde curls, glinting where the sun had lightened the ends. The younger boy had already changed into a pair of faded blue jeans, a fitted white shirt and a black vest.

They looked just right for him. Jin admired dreamily.

“What have you got next?” Kazuya asked which made Jin snapped out of his daze.

“C-Calculus. Over in Building A.”

He saw how the younger boy made a face. “Ugh! Never made it past algebra myself. Guess I’d have to make it up in summer school if I wanted to go to college.” Kazuya said as he was still holding onto Jin’s books. “Come one, I’ll walk you. I’ve got literature down the hall.”

They were heading into the noisy, jostling stream of students when Minami, Kazuya’s girl appeared out of nowhere to link her arm through Kazuya’s. She had changed too, into tightly fitting designer jeans and a striking sexy pink see-through tank top. She managed to direct the full brilliance of her smile at Kazuya while ignoring Jin completely.

Jin tried not to arch an eyebrow. I didn’t know that fishnet clothes are still available in stores. She looks more human—well, not totally human— in her earlier costume, but now, she looks like a fish.

“Do you believe that—that weird Aiba Masaki? He bid nine hundred fifty yen for me just so he could get me to go to the dance with him! That’s what he told me. You should have seen his face when I told him I was going with you. As if I’d be seen at the dance with a weird maniac like him anyway.” Minami said non stop with a disgusted face at the last part.

Kazuya flashed the older boy a sheepish look but didn’t withdraw his arm from Minami’s. “Come on, Mi-chan. Aiba-kun’s not so bad.”

“Easy for you to say,” she punned, tossing her long wavy hair. “You’re not the one who’s stuck with a weirdo for a whole week!” Taking notice of Jin for the first time, she shot him a quick maybe-I’m-wrong look. Jin caught her meaning and almost wrecked the girl’s pretty neck if it wasn’t for his good natured self.

“I can take those from here, Kazuya,” he stammered, retrieving the bundle of books. “I’ve got to run, or I’ll be late.”

Was he mistaken? Or did Kazuya look relieved that he was going? At any rate, he didn’t argue, only grinned good-naturedly and waved goodbye.

“Ja ne, Jin! See you tomorrow!” He heard the younger boy said loudly as he strode away.

“Sure, see yah, Kazu…” He said silently.

He had just enough time to dash to his classroom and slide into his seat like a runner rounding home plate.

Part 1

Jin unfolded the piece of paper that had been passed to him from Ryo, three desks away. The note was short and straight to the point.

Oi! Bakanishi! How did it go with ‘you-know-who’? , said Ryo with his large, silly handwriting.

Jin glanced over at his friend, who was sitting staring straight ahead with an innocent expression on his face like good little boy. He caught Ryo’s attention with a faint grin and a shrug.

Let him figure it out. Jin smiled widely on that thought.

While Mr. Will Smith, their big black American English professor talked about William Shakespeare, Jin stared out the window and let his mind wander. The lawn stretched invitingly outside, cool and green; the smell of grass, still wet from sprinklers, drifted through open windows. As usual, his daydreams sneaked up on him, and before he knew it he was painting imaginary pictures of himself whirling Kazuya in his arms at the dance. The dance was slow with dim lights. He looked down at the younger boy and saw the other’s dazzling expression. Slowly, he looked down and saw the wet kissable lips that he had long to feel—his arms tightened around the younger and brought his face closer—he knew it will be the sweetest kiss he will get from Kazuya…

“Mr. Akanishi.” Mr. Smith’s dry loud voice jolted him back to reality. “If I didn’t know you better, I’d swear you were daydreaming with someone special in a dim lit place. If you intend to repeat your excellent performance on Friday’s test—the only perfect score in the class as always, I might add—I suggest you pay attention to what I’m saying.”

A chuckle rippled through the room which made Jin flushed. He looked towards Ryo who was grinning widely at him as if telling him you’re busted, daydreaming huh? He was glad YamaPi wasn’t in that class or he will get more teasing.

Jin frowned and looked down at his desk top; he hated it when professors announced grades in front of everyone. Didn’t they realize that super-good grades could be just damaging to reputations as bad ones? He wasn’t that all smart, he knew that. He was just being responsible being a student, and he doesn’t want to upset his mother about him getting bad grades. Sometimes—or always, people had a way of categorizing a bright person, calling names like “Brain”, “Know-It-All” and other weird geek names. In grade school, some of his schoolmates called him “Akanishi the SmartHead” as if that were all there was to him, as if nothing else counted.

After English class, Jin hurriedly packed up his things and walked out of the room, trying to avoid or mainly hide from one of the cruelest person he knew. But before he reached a corner, a hand landed on his shoulder. He heaved a deep long sigh.

“Aw! Jin! Mr. Hancock really gave it to you today! I’ve never heard him talk like that to you before.” Ryo teased and laughed as they head towards his locker.

“So? I’m not always Mister Perfect, you know.” Jin banged open his locker with more force than necessary.

Ryo arched his brows in surprise. “What’s gotten into you, anyway? I thought being in love was supposed to make a person happier, not the other way around.”

“Who said anything about love? Just because I happen to think Kamenashi Kazuya is a nice cute guy—”

“And sexy,” his friend put in.

“OK,” Jin admitted blushing. “He is s-sexy, but that doesn’t mean I have to be in love with him, does it?” He turned to his locker, flung his Calculus and English book in, grabbed an apple, left over from lunch day before and bit into it savagely.

“Aren’t you already in love with him?” Ryo arched an eyebrow. “The last time me and Pi slept over into your house, while we are sleeping you were calling his—”

“Look,” Jin snapped before he could even hear the most embarrassing thing happened to him. “Don’t think I don’t appreciate what you and Pi tried to do for me, but I don’t know if this is such a good idea.” He sighed. “I mean, he might start thinking I’m throwing myself at him, or something? He’s too nice of a person to say anything that would really hurt my feelings, so how do I know what he’s really thinking about me? I think, he is better off with a girl, not to a guy.”

Ryo rolled his eyes exasperatingly. “You know, Jin, for someone so smart, you can be awfully dense at times. Did it ever occur to you that a person might be nice to you just because he wants to be?”

“Like Ellen, you mean.” He replied glumly as he remembered his talkative girl neighbor who happened to be his worst first kiss.

They both had study hall in the library during fourth period, so they didn’t hurry.

“Ellen’s a friend, that’s different. Maybe Kamenashi is being nice to you because he’s attracted to you.” Ryo pointed out.

“Oh, right. Why should he be attracted to a guy like me when he got a girl like Minami?”

“Minami’s a girl, we can’t change that. She’s also too flashy, all right. Ok, so you’re not a girl and the flashy type but that doesn’t mean he can’t be attracted to a guy too? What’s wrong with the way you are? I happen to think you’re pretty handsome yourself. OK! That’s it! Just forget it’s me, the sexy Osakan Nishikido Ryo who said that. But I’ll be honest for this time, just THIS time, you’re not that bad, Jin.”

Jin cracked a reluctant smile before he stopped and hugged Ryo. “Thanks, Ryo-chan~ I’m sorry I yelled at you.”

“OH SHIT! Bakanishi! Don’t get all too cheesy now!” Ryo disgustingly pushed Jin away from him. “Don’t get all too serious about me saying you’re handsome, that was just THAT time! And don’t forget, I am still MORE handsome and sexy!” He laughed proudly and evilly.

Jin couldn’t help but smile on how self-proclaimed his best friend was.

One thing about Ryo, Jin thought, the other didn’t suffer from an inferiority complex, so it was hard for him to know how other people felt when their egos were trampled on. It wasn’t that Ryo was so handsome, either. Like Jin, he had his good points and his not-so-good points. It was just that he never worried too much about his self. In that way, Ryo and Kazuya were alike.

If you accepted yourself without too much fuss, other people would accept you too, Jin thought. It seemed simple when he considered it that way but he knew how hard it was to work at something that didn’t come naturally.

Jin came to an abrupt halt as they neared the double doors of the library. “I don’t feel much like studying right now,” he announced. “How about cutting for the rest of the day ne, Ryo-chan?”

“ARE YOU ON DRUGS?!” Ryo exclaimed.

“Ryo-chan~ don’t be so loud! Or people might think I’m totally on it!” Jin muttered as he hurriedly dragged Ryo away from the students who stared at them with suspicion.

“I just can’t believe it! YOU-” Ryo pointed a finger at Jin with shock. “CUTTING classes—study hall?! That’s just unbelievable!”

“Cut it out, Ryo-chan!” Jin pouted. “It’s not like I’m not capable of doing such thing.”

Ryo blinked. “Well, I think you’re really not capable of doing that ‘coz DUH~ you hate doing it! But now, what the hell!?”

Jin frowned even more. “I’m just not into the mood. I guess, you are right, I need to spice things up. Try new things.”

“Baka! I didn’t mean cutting school! I just said those for other things, not this! Are you turning into some kind of rebel?!”

“Gee, Ryo-chan. I just want to refresh my mind from what you and Pi had gotten me into. Could you at least just give in?” Jin sighed.

“Oh, okay.” Ryo feeling a bit guilty scratched his head. “But I thought you had that Italian quiz to study for.” Even though Jin loves Italian foods, Italian was his weakest subject, which only meant he had to work twice as hard for an A.

“Maa~ who cares about Italian! At least I know the word, Ciao~” he declared with sudden haste. “Let’s go grab a pizza at MEI-MEI’s RED TOWER.” But even as he said them, Jin knew how empty his words were. Cutting study hall only meant he’d have to stay up later than usual to finish preparing for the quiz.

Ryo shrugged. “Fine with me, but—you know, I can’t still understand why Mei-chan chose a weird name over her resto. What’s with the TOWER thing?”

“Oh, Ryo-chan, just leave the name on its own. Mei-chan will get mad at you again! You don’t want an overcooked pizza, do you?”

Jin tried not to laugh out loud when he saw how Ryo almost puke remembering the last time the restaurant owner gave him an overcooked pizza with full of hatred.

MEI-MEI’s RED TOWER was a small bricked oven pizza and burger restaurant near DOKIDOKI HIGH. It was the other place Jin really loves aside from their lovely house, the silent library and the pleasant little park near their house. The restaurant has Italian and Japanese touch combination in interior. It has an outside lounge with colorful chairs and benches. Inside, you can see the mixture of Italian and Japanese style in chairs, tables, walls, etc. The styles and positions of the stuffs were simple yet it was appealing to the people, especially to the teenagers. And how can they forget the incredible delicious foods, especially the pizzas, the area of their expertise.

As Jin and Ryo entered the small house which was half full of students from DOKIDOKI High and other schools, a petite jolly lady who looked like just one of the high school students greeted them.

“Irasshaima—OH! Jin-tan! You’re here!” said the girl with a bright smile and was about to hug Jin but stopped and a frown appeared on her face when she noticed someone next to Jin. “And your little friend is here too, to ask about my house’ weird name again.”

“Your house is weird, alright,” Ryo pouted. “Just like the owner.” He added in a low voice but the girl heard her clearly which made her gave Ryo a deadly glare.

Jin tried not to laugh as he watched the two people in front of him glaring at each other childishly. If they were in the anime world, he was sure there will be some thunder and electric glares the two will throw at each other.

The petite perky lady was Mei, a half Japanese, half Filipino girl. Obviously, she was the owner of the popular MEI-MEI’s RED TOWER but sometimes or always, people mistaken her as one of the students who usually ate there because of her figure looking like a high school girl although she was actually a college student.

Aside from YamaPi and Ryo, Mei was also Jin’s closest friend, THE closest girl friend he had. She was two years older than the three boys and currently attending arts at DOKIDOKI UNIVERSITY. At the young age, she took over her family business because of the sudden death of her parents in a car accident and the only family she had was her big brother who was currently working in Europe. Even though she lived half of her life with no parents and only a big brother, she grew up as a very lively lovable lady but sometimes weird (in a good way) as Ryo always thought.

Jin sipped his strawberry banana yogurt shake, watching as several other kids drifted in and sat down at their tables. It appeared that he and Ryo weren’t the only ones skipping school.

“Say, you two are also skipping classes’ ne?” Mei chirped in.

Jin choked a bit and then snapped his head to look at the girl who appeared to be beside him. “How did you—”

Mei cut him off by laughing out loud. “I know when and what time you and your friends usually hang out in here ne!”

“You’re just simply stalking us.” Ryo sneered as he sipped his own drinks with a bored look on his face. “No wonder, Pi likes you ‘coz you kept on checking on us like his mom.”

The girl sent Ryo a deathly glare. “You should be glad I didn’t burn your food and don’t badmouth Pi-chan, he’s too nice of a kid than you.” She then smiled again, back to her normal happy mood. “Anyways, I’m not stalking you three, I’m just a good observant. That’s all.”

“Observant my ass.” Ryo mumbled mockingly, he smirked to himself but as soon as he looked at the girl in front of him, a shiver ran down his spine.

Mei flashed her big wide smile but Ryo can totally sense the dangerous aura surrounding them. “Ne… Ryo-chan, I didn’t catch it clearly. Mind if you repeat that?”

Ryo tried to say something, he opened his open but no voice came out. He coughed two times and said chokingly, “I-It’s n-nothing.”

The girl glared at Ryo before smirking widely and brightly as if saying, I won again.

Jin could only shake his head at the scene in front of him. He looked around and saw some of his schoolmates were there talking and giggling. Some of the girls in the next table were discussing their plans for the dance. “My okaa-san’s making my dress!” one girl was saying. “We went shopping last weekend and picked out the material. Wait ‘til you see it! She made me pick out a simple pattern, though, since sewing isn’t really her thing.”

“You heard about Minami’s dress?” her companion asked. “She’s not only making it herself, but designing it from scratch, too. Mimasaki-sensei, our home ec teacher says she has a real talent for designing, and maybe she ought to think about making a career of it.”

“What does Minami say?” the other girl asked curiously.

“Oh, you know her. She never takes anything too seriously except maybe Kamenashi Kazuya…” The rest of the sentence was drowned out by the sudden question Mei throw at him, for which Jin was grateful or… not. He’d heard enough but realizing what Mei asked him, he couldn’t help but sigh.

“I heard, Kazu-chan turn out to be your little fairy ne~” Mei chirped with twinkles in her eyes as she clasped her hands. A moment ago, she was like a witch burning holes to Ryo’s body and now, she was getting all excite about something.

“Thanks to my brilliant idea~” Ryo proudly said and to Jin’s dismay, both Ryo and Mei hi-five like old good friends.

“I didn’t know you have a brain, Ryo-chan~ I thought only Jin-tan and Pi-chan have that.” Mei giggled and ruffled Ryo’s hair couldn’t control herself from teasing the younger boy.

“Oi~!” Ryo pouted but smiled nonchalantly.

Jin sighed but he snapped back up. “EH? Wait—how did you know?”

Mei giggled. “That’s my dirty little secret.” She winked at Jin and smirked meaningfully which only made the younger boy frowned in confusion. “Oh! I need to stop chitchatting with you guys, have to go. Peeps keep on coming!” She smiled widely before waving and walking away towards the counter to get back to her work.

Cheerful as ever. Jin couldn’t help but smile.

“I wonder if she ever experience getting tired and pressured at all.” Ryo asked with tilted head. “Guess not.” He decided after a moment.

Both Jin and Ryo burst into laughter.

By the time school let out, the place was really crowded. Tegoshi Yuya, Ryo’s boyfriend came in and slid into the seat next to the older boy with sweet smile fixed on his face. He was as girly looking boy as Kazuya but not as beautiful and sexy as Kazu—Jin thought proudly. Even though Tegoshi was a small and girly looking boy, he was on the baseball team along with Kazuya. He was considered one of the cutiest boys in Dokidoki high, he have a cute but flirty baby face (which made Jin got irritated sometimes), a dazzling smile and a bit curly brown hair.

Yuya kissed his boyfriend on the cheek and giggled which made Ryo blushed, “Miss you, Ryo-tan~!” He took a noisy slurp from Ryo’s milk shake, and then grabbed a slice of pizza off his plate. “I hear you and Pi-chan really pulled a good one on Jin-kun ne~” he said. “I was talking to Kame-chan today during practice.”

Ryo raised an eyebrow, asking innocently, “Oh? What did Kame-kun have to say?”

Yuya shrugged and bite onto his pizza, “Not much,” he answered and turned to Jin. “I gather he thinks Jin-kun will be good influence on him—you know, like maybe your smarts~smarts will rub off on him somehow.”

Brat. Jin could only huff because of what Yuya said. Sometimes, he doesn’t know if he will hate the younger boy or not because of his bratty attitude.

“Is that all?” Ryo pressed.

“Yeah, pretty much ne~ Except I told him I wouldn’t get my hopes up if I was him. You got a pretty good head on your shoulders ne, Jin-kun. Kame-chan happens to be a confirmed turtle for being slow to pick up on lessons, especially if it’s math.” Yuya giggled and munched on his pizza until it was all gone onto his mouth.

“Maybe Jin likes turtle,” Ryo shot back defensively, trying to defend his best friend for the first time while Jin suddenly became absorbed in removing a straw from its wrapper.

“Oh, yeah?” Yuya snuggled affectionately into Ryo. “That must come from hanging around you for so long ne~ Ryo-tan!” He grinned wickedly; dropping a quick peck on the other’s lips which made Ryo pouted but blushed than ever.

Suddenly, for no good reason at all, Jin felt like crying.

Damn it. I want to kiss kazu-chan too.

First off... the weather today was not really that charming so I thought it will be full of boredom... and it was! *laughs* but well, I'm glad I have my computer, my mp4 and my cell phone to play with... I only have one class today, so I was thinking earlier if I'll attend it or not, being the lazy me, I shouldn't have gone to school... my instinct told me that we don't have class.. But yeah, I still went to school or else my dad will wreck my pretty neck... *bricks* and when I got to school, my instinct was totally right. I shouldn’t have gone there… *sigh*

Now, my bad condition worsen, got even more headaches that led to migraine, my sight got blurry, runny nose got even worse! I almost embarrass myself from sneezing so loud! Lucky, only my friends were with me… *laughs*

Hmmm… I had gone to school 1 hour early so, I still have to wait by then. I just chatted with my friends and do things… stupid things.. lol! XDD

There you go~ hihihi.. after i drew that, i grabbed my things and went to the physics laboratory but guess what my professor told us... >.< "we don't have class for today, i have meeting with the superiors for the upcoming installation here in the school." **pouts**

It was good to hear that we don't have class but... well, for me it's not! *bangs my head on the wall* it's not fair really! i have to spend my day for nothing, spend my money for transportation for nothing,. amp. *stomps my feet*

hhmmm... well, what can i do? it already happened so i decided to go home...

i thought it will be my worst day, because i don't have my umbrella! (stupid umbrella, don't know where it is!) and I'll be soak! but i thought wrong.. *laughs*

I really didn't expect to meet someone on my way home.. *giggles* well, let's just call him... "MR. Sadist B" *laughs* what a long nickname~ Well, here it is, i really didn't thought or never did i expect that we'll see each other again.. lmao~ i got really SHOCK and got SHOT! earlier, i didn't even know what to do back there... but nonetheless, i smiled at him! lmao! too brightly i guess??? ahaha!

After that, yeah.. we talked... lol! XDD after a little talk, there was this awkward silence, then we talked again! lol! XDD what a wonderful cycle of conversation~! *rofl*

I really don’t know why I’m here.. *laughs* I have exams tomorrow but here I am, posting a weird entry! Ahaha! But no one really can stop me! Ahahaha! *smirks* here it goes, I just want to release my stress.. ahaha! X3

Once again~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY Okaa-chan… Jinjin~ and Massu~! OMEDETOU~!

Title: Unexpected Love begins with a little or big tease?

Warning: Some of Kame’s drama characters are females. Boys kissing and hugging. *LOL* (this should be natural now, since this is a shounen ai fic!)

Summary: Kazuya and Jin’s parents are the best of friends before they were born but the relationship between Kazuya and Jin is opposite. They hate each other ever since they’ve seen each other. There’s no passing moment that they will fight and tease each other like cats and dogs. But what will happen if hate becomes love? There’s a saying “Hate is just a thin line away from Love.” But can that really happen with the two of them? Is it really possible for them to love each other or it will lead them to hate each other more than ever?

Chapter 16

“T-Tomo-chii?” Kazuya mumbled, utterly stunned still as his current boyfriend, Yamashita Tomohisa hugged him tightly like there’s no tomorrow.

“KAZU-CHII! I MISSED YOU~! Do you miss me? Do you? Do you?” The well-built man named Yamashita Tomohisa a.k.a Tomo-chii bounced happily as he kept on hugging the younger man.

“H-huh? Wha—whe—wh—ho—” The younger man tried to ask something but he doesn’t know what to ask first.

Kazuya felt the older man chuckled and pulled away a little bit to look at him.

“I know! I know! I totally surprised you, aren’t I?” Yamashita chuckled once more and pinched the younger man’s cheeks which made Kazuya snapped out of his daze and frowned at the older man.

“YES, YOU ARE!” Kazuya pouted as he pushed his boyfriend away from him. “I didn’t expect you to be here! And here I thought, you already forgot about me ‘coz you didn’t call! You TOMO—PINK! I hate you!” He glared at his widely smiling boyfriend.

“I’m sorry ne? I didn’t have a chance to call you because I was on the plane. It’s not allowed to use cell phone while on the plane, right? Don’t be mad at me, Kazu-chii! I can’t help but missed you already for just one second so I followed you and I just want to surprise you!” Yamashita explained gently as he cupped the younger man’s face.

Kazuya couldn’t help but feel loved at that time, he tried to pout but a smile appeared on his face. “You surprised me alright.”

“YAY~!” Yamashita smiled widely as he once again jumped and hugged Kazuya who also hugged back even though his clothes were still wet.

Unknown for the two lovebirds, a certain irritated person was trying to make holes on the new guest a.k.a Kazuya’s Tomo-chii with his eyes. Jin looked away annoyed and coughed loudly to caught the others’ attention but to his dismay, the two men didn’t budge. With clenched fist, he coughed once again then again.

DARN IT! WHY CAN’T THEY JUST GET A ROOM?! WHO IS THAT PINK GUY ANYWAY?! Jin thought with gritted teeth.

“Jin-kun, are you alright? You keep on coughing. We have medicine on the kitchen. Do you need it?” A worried motherly voice came which interrupted the three young men’s complicated little world. Both three men turned and saw Kazuya’s mother Shizuku staring at them.

At that time, just then Kazuya remembered that Jin was there. He abruptly turned to the older man and saw that the other was staring back at him but instantly looked away.

Kazuya frowned and arched an eyebrow. What’s wrong with him? Why is he so mad at me? Wait—did I just saw a glimpse of jealousy on his eyes? OH come on, Kazuya! That’s impossible! He’s no— He didn’t have a chance to finish what he was about to conclude on his mind when a freaking heavy screams came, one on the other side of the entrance hall and the other was right in front of him.

“OMG~ Kazu-chii! YOU’RE WET~!” Kazuya heard his boyfriend Yamashita exclaimed worriedly as he grabbed the jacket around the younger man and wrapped it tightly even more.

“YEAH, Kazuya dear! You’re wet! Why did you take a bath outside! It’s raining!” His mother followed suit and ran towards him.

Kazuya almost slapped his forehead because of his boyfriend and mother’s sudden outburst. They just noticed it now?

“First of all, tadaima, Okaa-san, and second of all I didn’t take a bath outside. It suddenly rain, I didn’t bring umbrella so I get soaked and Tomo, you already hug me so many times but you just noticed it now?” The younger man pointed out as he closed his eyes and sighed.

“Oh, sou…” Shizuku and Tomohisa could only say as they both tilted their heads and digested what Kazuya had just said.

The younger man once again heaved a deep sigh.

“Stop sighing, Kazu-chii! It’s bad for your health! Come on! You need to change your clothes or you’ll get cold! IKOU IKOU!” Tomohisa grabbed Kazuya’s wrist and dragged him inside the living room.

Jin who was watching the whole scene with disgust and irritation arched an eyebrow. Sighing is bad for HIS what? Health? What is he, a sick human being? He mocked.

“Wait—where are you dragging me?” Kazuya asked his boyfriend who was still dragging him.

“To your room, of course! You need to take a shower and put dry clothes! Come on! I’ll bath and dress you up!” The older man smiled widely and gently as he dragged the younger onto the stairs.

Kazuya blushed when he heard his boyfriend’s last statement. “Bu—but—I can take a bath on my own!” He insisted, stuttering as he stopped on his track.

Tomohisa grinned widely. “Oh~ my Kazu-chii’s being shy ne~ How cute! Come on! Let’s go up!” The older man tightened his hold at Kazuya who tried to protest once again but failed and was dragged onto the stairs up to his room leaving his mother who was just smiling with clasped hands and Jin who was dumbfounded but an irritated expression flustered on his face.

HE didn’t even thank me for sending him home? What a nice person! AND WHO IS THAT DAMN ANNOYING PINK MAN?! Jin angrily asked to no one on his mind as he just stared at the stairs where Kazuya along with the guy named Tomo-chii wearing a pink shirt went through.

“MOU~ Kazu-chii~ Open the door~” A whining voice can be heard outside Kazuya’s room.

“Just go back downstairs! I can handle it now, I can take a bath on my own and I can really dress myself up! Don’t worry okay!” Kazuya said with a blush as he kept on blocking his boyfriend from entering his room.

“But—but—I thought you missed me? Why are you pushing me away?” Tomohisa said sadly with teary eye.

Kazuya sighed and cupped the older man’s face. “I missed you alright, so much that I got worried when you didn’t call me. It’s just that—I’m not pushing you away. I can manage on my own, Tomo. You don’t need to bath me or dress me up. I have my own hands and feet, remember?” He gently explained as he smiled sweetly at his boyfriend who was just looking at him intently.

“I’m just worried. You might get sick.” Tomohisa stated as he hugged Kazuya tight. “Remember when we had a trip to California?”

The younger man nodded.

“You got sick that time. You didn’t eat nor sleep at those times, you really got pale. I got so worried back then especially when you were brought to hospital. I panicked and I was useless.” The older man explained quietly with an obvious concerned as he hugged Kazuya tighter than before as if he was afraid to lose him.

“You will never be useless, Tomo-chii.” Kazuya replied as he also hugged back Tomohisa with a gentle smile on his face. “Ever since we met from when we were still young until we grew up, you’ve been my hero and I know, you will always be.”

There was a silence as they just held each other close with a genuine smile on their faces.

“Nee…” Kazuya broke the silence after a couple of minutes. “Just go downstairs ne? Wait me there, okay? And we’ll eat dinner together.” He said as he pulled away slowly.

Tomohisa beamed at him, back to his bouncy self. “Okay! Jya, you need to take a good warm shower, okay? Close your window so that the cold wind won’t come in. I’ll go and wait for you downstairs and while I’m waiting for you, I and your Kaa-chan still have lots of chatting to do.” The older man chirped happily.

The younger man smiled but when the last statement of his boyfriend sank in his mind he immediately set straight. “Did you tell, Okaa-san?” He asked quickly.

“Tell what?” Tomohisa cocked his head on the side with confusion.

“Ah—uhh—You know… the e—” Kazuya tried to elaborate with waving hands.

“AH~!” The older man understood with a wide grin. “Daijoubu! I didn’t tell her. You said that we’ll tell them when everyone is here so she knows nothing yet. But—”

“But what?!” Kazuya exclaimed nervously with wide eyes which made the older man chuckled and pinched him on the cheeks.

“Relax, Kazu-chii!” Tomohisa chuckled once again. “It just that Shizu Kaa-chan remembered me!”

“OH! Then that’s great ne?” The younger man almost smacked his head. “Okaa-san really have a good memory, of course she’ll remember you~ especially, the pink boy who had saved my life eighteen years ago.”

Both of the looked at each other before bursting into laughter.

“Okay, enough with the chatting ne, Kazu-chii! Go inside now and take your time refreshing!” The older man pushed Kazuya inside the room. “I’ll go now! Take care!” Tomohisa said before bouncing happily away.

Kazuya couldn’t help but smile before closing his door. He went to his closet and grabbed a towel. When he was about to go to the bathroom, a shiny thing which was lying on top of his bed caught his attention. He slowly walked towards his bed but before he could even reach the edge of it, he stopped dead.

“Jin…” He silently mumbled as he stared at the silver necklace that holds the pinky ring which was a gift from Jin.

A tear fell from his eyes unconsciously.

SNAP OUT OF IT, KAZUYA! He’s not important anymore! Tomo is the one you love now, so stop thinking about him! A voice from his mind made him wiped his tear away angrily. He turned around and quickly went to the bathroom.

As soon as Kazuya was done with his bath and wore a comfortably clothes, he immediately walked downstairs towards the kitchen—dining room to join his mother and his boyfriend for dinner but he was stopped when he saw another person he thought had already went home. Jin.

“Kazuya dear~ Finally, you’re done! Come on! Sit! We’ll have our dinner now.” Shizuku said as she placed a bowl of ramen on the table.

“KOCHI kochi, Kazu-chii~!” Kazuya saw his boyfriend smiling at him as he tapped the seat next to him.

The younger man smiled sweetly but deep within him, he was nervous. Who wouldn’t? when he’s going to sit between the past and present. He slowly walked towards them and sat silently.

ARGH! Why is he still here? Kazuya thought miserably. He was totally uncomfortable with the situation; Jin being here with them, especially now that his boyfriend Tomohisa was here with them. Well, for a fact, Tomohisa knew about him and Jin’s past relationship, Kazuya had told him all about it. ALL of it.

After he had told Tomohisa about it, the older man accepted it and told him that it was okay but still, he was still unease about Jin, him and Tomohisa being in one situation, face to face. Though his boyfriend had told him so many times that he wasn’t affected about Jin, Kazuya knew that the older man still have insecurities towards the other.

“Nee, nee.. Kazu-chii, you kno—” Tomohisa was about to say something but was cut off.

“Why are you still here?” Kazuya suddenly said coldly towards Jin who just wore a blank face and didn’t bother to look at him.

“Kazuya! Don’t be so rude to Jin-kun ne! I’m the one who invited him to have dinner with us.” Shizuku said, displeased with her son’s attitude. “Gomen ne, Jin-kun. Don’t mind Kazuya.” She apologetically said as she turned to the young man.

Kazuya saw the older man smiled at his mother. “Its okay, Shizuku baa-san, I’m already used to your son’s lack of appreciation for my kindness.”

The younger man’s blood heat up. WHAT? ME??? Being lack of appreciation??? For his what? KINDNESS?! He thought angrily.

Kazuya abruptly and furiously turned to Jin. “WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALIKNG ABOUT? ME? Being lack of appreciation for your kindness? I didn’t even know you have that kindness in your body!” He exclaimed madly.

“Well, aren’t I being kind when I voluntarily picked you up and sent you home when it’s raining hard outside?” Jin sarcastically retorted which made Kazuya stopped.

There was an awkward thick silence.

“Kazuya dear, you should be thankful of Jin-kun’s kindheartedness ne. Stop being so rude to him. Now, apologize to him.” Shizuku lectured her son.

Kazuya pouted and looked down, seemingly interested in staring at his nails. “Why should I?” He mumbled.

“Kazuya.” Shizuku warningly said which made Kazuya shiver in fear but still he didn’t make a move to apologize.

He stayed silence, not willing to say his sorry to Jin. He knew he was being unreasonable but he couldn’t help it. He was still staring at his hands when a hand gently caressed his hand and squeezed it. Kazuya slowly looked up to see Tomohisa nodded at him and smiled, encouraging him to say sorry.

Kazuya heaved a deep sigh before lifting his head up and turned to Jin. “Sorry.” He said plainly.

The older man didn’t budge.

“Kazuya, when saying sorry, you need to say it with full enthusiasm ne. Not just plain ‘SORRY’ without a feeling! Say it again.” Shizuku pointed out and ordered his son like a teacher or something.

The younger man tried not to frown but instead he stared straight to Jin’s eyes and said with full of feeling, “I’m sorry.”

“You’re forgiven.” Jin replied shortly with a mischievous smile which to Kazuya’s clear points of view: a mockery.

FORGIVEN MY ASS! Kazuya mocked silently on his mind.

“There you go!” Kazuya heard his mother exclaimed happily as she clasped her hands. “It’s so beautiful to see a full of emotion ‘sorry’ ne~”

The younger man really tried not to roll his eyes or his mother will get mad at him.

“I’m so proud of you, Kazu-chii!” His boyfriend chirped in cheerfully which only made Kazuya almost banged his head on the table.

My mother and Tomo sure have same way of behavior! Kazuya concluded with a sigh.

Shizuku waved her hands on the air, “Okay okay! Young men! Let’s continue our dinner or the food will get co—”

“TADAIMA~!”

“TADAIMA!”

“Tadaima.”

“Tadai—”

Four voices had interrupted Shizuku.

“Otou-san! Yuto! Tat-chan! Ryo nii-chan! OKAERI!” Kazuya greeted back happily, forgetting his moody mood as the four men entered the dining room.

“Mou~ Kazuya! Do you have to cut me short?! I’m not done yet with my ‘Tadaima’!” Ryo whined as he clutched to his partner. “Tat-chan~ Kazuya’s being mean to me~”

Kazuya chuckled saw how his best friend sighed and smacked his twin’s head.

“Stop acting like a 3 year old kid, Ryo.” Tatsuya said as he rolled his eyes.

Ryo pulled away and stomped his feet childishly. “I hate you, you meanie like Kazuya~” The self proclaimed sexy Osaka man pouted and crossed his arms on his chest which made the people inside the dining room laughed hard with his antics.

“OI~” Ryo whined and pouted even more.

“Ahahaha~ Ne, you really never changed, Ryo chibi-chan~” A voice chirped in which made all heads turned to the owner of it.

Kazuya covered his mouth as he tried not to laugh out loud when he heard his boyfriend called his twin brother’s weird nickname.

Ryo glared at the unknown person sitting next to his twin. “HEY! WHO SAID YOU CAN CALL ME THAT!” He barked angrily as he walked furiously towards the guest. “WHO THE HECK ARE YO—HOLYMOTHEROFPINK! Is that you… YamaPi?!” Ryo exclaimed shocked with a finger pointing at the other as he recognized him.

“What? Is that… Pi-kun? The pink boy eighteen years ago?” Kazuya’s father Miroku asked in surprised as he walked and sat beside his wife.

“Yes, dear.” Shizuku smiled as she leaned towards her husband and kissed him on the cheek. “Okaeri.”

“Nee… Nee… Kazuya nii, is he the pink boy you were talking about when we were young?” Yuto asked in confusion.

Kazuya just nodded with a wide grin on his face. And when he turned to his best friend Ueda, he once again smiled meaningfully.

Tomohisa chuckled. “Hai~ the one and only, YamaPink~” He proudly introduced his self with a *konkon* sign.

All Kamenashis along with Ueda chuckled at Tomohisa’s cute way of initiation. All were amuse except for the one and only Akanishi Jin.

Why all of them know this man? Who is he? Jin asked to himself.

“So, our Kazuya’s Super Pink Boy is back to rescue him?” Miroku teased.

EH? Superman? Jin furrowed his eyebrow in confusion.

“Otou-san~” Kazuya pouted and tried to hide his blush from everyone but Jin saw it clearly and he felt a pain on his chest.

“Well, Miro tou-chan, I’m no longer the Super Pink Boy who rescued three year old Kazu-chii eighteen years ago when he was drowned onto the small pool, locked in the toilet and stuck on the wall—” Tomohisa stated with a chuckle which made the Kazuya’s family laughed hard except for Kazuya who pouted childishly and nudged his boyfriend. “You don’t have to tell them that, you know.” The younger man mumbled embarrassingly.

“But now,” Tomohisa continued as he stood up and then he gently pulled up the blushing Kazuya.

“I’m Kazu-chii’s SUPER PINK FIANCEE.”

All eyes went comically wide staring at them with jaw dropped.

All of them were utterly surprised. Especially…

Jin.

Chapter 1: The surprise!

“Ah-hah-amf~ Hey, did I miss anything?” Breathless, Akanishi Jin slipped into a seat between his two best friends, Yamashita Tomohisa a.k.a YamaPi and Nishikido Ryo a.k.a the self proclaimed sexy Osaka man, and finished the rest of his remaining rice balls sloppily.

“You’re late! Baka!” Ryo sneered. “Look, your little crush is up there already. Wearing his all too shiny white suit like a damn prince charming waiting for his princess! Oh wait! Scratch that! He’s no prince! He’s the princess!” The short boy laughed.

“Oi~ Ryo-chan! Don’t say bad things about him!” Jin whined and pouted but he felt his stomach widely twisted when he looked up on the stage. There standing his all time crush! Kamenashi Kazuya, the baseball heartthrob captain. As if i needed anyone to point HIM out to me! I’d recognized him anywhere—and now wearing that white suit which made him stand out just like when he was playing baseball on the field, sweating… Jin dreamily thought as he stared and gulped towards his crush.

“You’re lucky, Jin. They’ve only auctioned off Nakajima Yuto and Sakurai Sho so far. The last that’s going to be auction will be your little turtle.” YamaPi informed as he patted Jin’s shoulder with a meaningful grin.

The auction was the kick off for Yoosei Special Week at DOKIDOKI High. It was an annual event that every student looked forward to as a chance to really let loose. Popular and prominent students were chosen and invited to dress up in Anime costumes and were auctioned off to the highest bidders. The auction took place on Monday, and for the rest of the week, the “Yoosei” (Fairies/Genies) had to perform all sorts of entertaining tasks for their “Meijin.” (Masters)

Jin recalled the highlight of last year’s Yoosei Special Week, when the entire school turned out to watch Kazunari Ninomiya made a funny gag and run around the track in the rain wearing yellow raincoat and lacy, pink shower cap. At the end of the week, there was always a parade and then a Saturday night dance, the DOKIDOKI Night Ball. The theme for this year’s dance was “The Strawberry of the Twenty One Trees.” Wistfully, Jin wished he were going.

He looked at the stage, watching Kazuya charmingly smiling and making funny talks and gestures towards the huge audience before his bidding began. The young petite guy smiled at the appreciative catcalls and laughter. How Jin envied the other’s ability to look so relaxed and natural in front of people! Jin always felt self-conscious, lousy and clumsy when people were watching him—that was the reason why his two best friends call him Bakanishi and that was also the reason why he kept his nose buried in his books or mangas so much of the time.

My problem is I’m just too average. Wavy, shoulder-length dark brown hair, deep brown orbs and a mole near my right eye. I’m shy around people I don’t know very well. And worst, I’m a bisexual or let say homo? I’m gay ‘coz I’m attracted to the one and only Kamenashi Kazuya. Jin knew he could never hold center stage the way Kazuya could.

Along with the white shiny suit, Kazuya was wearing a very stylish knitted dirty white scarf around his waist. Someone had sewn strips of shiny fabric down the sides of Kazuya’s pants to make him look like an idol.

Minami, I’ll bet. Jin thought.

Besides being one of the most popular girls at DOKIDOKI High, the schools’ all in all cheerleader and Kazuya’s steady, Minami was a real expert in home economics.

The group of kids waiting their turns to go up on the auction block—a big well-molded and decorated lamp just like Aladdin’s lamp—were so extremely costumed in their own anime costume that Jin had trouble recognizing some of them. Finally, after seems like ages, Jin picked out Toda Erika, a lively dark-haired cheerleader for DOKIDOKI High’s basketball team impersonating Sakura the card captor, and Nakamaru Yuichi, a varsity soccer player, who was whispering something in Erika’s ear that made her laugh out loud wearing his Doraemon costume foolishly. Kato Shigeaki, class secretary, wore fitted black uniform along with red eye contacts, imitating ZERO from Code Geass. Bald, gangly Tanaka Koki, the class clown, wearing his KRILLIN costume from Dragon Ball and making stupid gags which made the person next to him frowned in irritation, namely Horikita Maki who wore a weird fairy princess costume.

Jin could hear people whispering all round him:

“If I had Sakurai Sho, I’d make him scrub my bike with his toothbrush.”

“I’d like to get Toda Erika for a week, I’d like her to do all my math homework! I heard, she’s a genius in numbers!”

“KYA~! Look at Kamenashi-kun! He’ll do anything to make you giggle! I want him to be my pet!”

Jin pouted when he heard the last comment but he looked up towards the stage once again.

Onstage, Kazuya executed a perfect back flip. Loud hooting and the thunder of stamping feet echoed throughout the auditorium. YamaPi leaned close to Jin in order to be heard.

“By the way, Jin, happy birthday.” Jin saw how his best friend’s eyes sparkled, and a smile of unmistakable mischief spread on his heart shape face.

“MOU~ what’s with you guys?” Jin demanded. “My birthday’s not for four more days, but you’ve been acting like a couple of secret agents for weeks! I hope you’re not planning another stupid surprise party like last year’s. Wow, what a disaster! A VERY NICE DISASTER!”

The oldest boy saw how Ryo flashed him a sheepish grin. “I guess it was pretty bad, wasn’t it? Maybe it would’ve been all right, though, if I hadn’t forgotten to call out the pizza.”

“Yeah, you suck, Ryo-chan,” YamaPi chuckled when Ryo tried to smack him on the head and glare. “it was pretty embarrassing ending up at McDonald’s like that. Guess the whole plan kind of backfired.”

Ryo smoothed his shiny, dark hair, his short but masculine features lighting up with excitement once again. He was the craziest of the three friends—scratch that—he was the 2^nd craziest, because Jin already stole the top spot—he was the one who dreamed up all the surprises and then pulled the other two along with him. He always said it was for their own good that Jin needed to spice things up and that YamaPi needed to get his head out of the clouds.

“This time you won’t be disappointed, Bakanishi,” Ryo assured Jin. “Promise, cross my heart even if that fairy Ueda dies.”

“OI~! Ryo-chan, don’t be so mean! Ueda’s my friend too!” Jin interfered, trying to defend their class president who was also one of his not-so-many-friends.

“I can be mean anytime I want. He’s not my friend.” Ryo snorted as he arched an eyebrow but then his thrilled mood came back. “Anyway, back to what I’m saying. I assure you that it’s something you never would have guessed in a million years. We had to come up with something really terrific for your Nineteenth birthday, didn’t we, Pi?”

“Yeah, you’ll love it! And because you will love it, you’ll buy us new clothes for the rest of your live!” YamaPi in jested as he laughed evilly.

Both Ryo and YamaPi smiled widely at each other while Jin was already lost on his own thoughts.

He was turning nineteen and yet he was still single and never been kissed. Well, that wasn’t strictly true. The first time was in his seventh grade by Aya Ueto, but that hardly counted since it was only a peck and since, as he later found out; her friends had dared her to do it like some kind of a game. The second time was last summer at their camp. He and Ellen Kaga had volunteered to go up the beach to get hot dogs and cokes for everyone. Ellen was a very talkative, long haired girl, the daughter of his parent’s friends. Jin knew Ellen liked him, and for all his knowledge, he was not interested on any girls but it caught him completely by surprise when she pulled him to her and kissed him as soon as they were behind some trees. Jin didn’t like it one bit because he could only remember about that kiss was the taste of seaweeds that the girl had eaten.

It wasn’t a kiss that would go down the history that was for sure. Nothing like that scene out of Proposal Daisakusen when Iwase Ken kissed his girlfriend/long time childhood best friend Yoshida Rei on the beach on sun set time. That was the way he imagined it would be with Kazuya; though, of course, it was ridiculous to imagine such a thing, and he would die before admitting his daydreams to anyone. Kazuya barely knew he existed, that was what he thought. And even if, by some weird miracle, they went out on a date, what difference would it make? Kazuya would only find out how dull and stupid he was, and probably he’d be bored stiff the whole evening.

Koyama Keiichiro, the DOKIDOKI High’s Student Council vice president and Yoosei auctioneer, banged his heart-shaped gavel against the platform and motioned Kazuya forward as the bidding continued.

“Looks like your little turtle’s time to shine ne, Jin.” YamaPi chirped in as he nudged the older boy who was a bit in daze once again.

Jin straightened up on his seat.

“Oh, this is going to be exciting!” Ryo exclaimed as he jumped a little bit from his seat, placed his hand on his chin as if he was thinking and smiled like a mad man.

Jin pouted and crossed his arms.

A hand shot up, and a loud male voice called, “One hundred yen! But that’s only if Minami comes with the deal!” There was a wave of laughter, and Jin noticed with envy how sensational Minami looked in shiny fitted revealing silver white costume maid with shimmering sequins and accessories around her body. With her dark-lashed blue eyes, long wavy hair, and beautiful figure, she came about as close as anyone could to be the perfect yoosei ideal.

Jin heaved a deep sigh. How can I compete with her? She’s a girl and Kazuya’s a boy, they’re perfect. Kazuya is a straight guy, how could he love someone like me? I’m also a guy.

“You know, Jin. If you don’t stop sighing, you’ll only get bad luck forever. And you’ll remain the Bakanishi.” Ryo butted in sarcastically but didn’t bother looking at him.

The older boy was about to retort when he felt a hand on his shoulder. “Don’t bother, I’ll bet she stayed up all night sewing that outfit,” whispered YamaPi in a voice laced with what-could-she-possibly-do-wrong sarcasm. “Doesn’t she know this whole thing is supposed to be a gag?”

Before Jin could comment, someone shouted from the other side. “Two hundred yen!” Jin recognized her as Becky, a very too much positive cheerful girl who was always being sent up to detention room for talking too much in class. She had plenty of friends, but no steady boyfriend that Jin knew of. Did Becky have a crush on Kazuya? He wondered.

Someone came up with “Two hundred seventy five yen!” and before long the bidding had gone up to Eight hundred yen. The record for last year was nine hundred and fifty yen, and that had gone for Matsumoto Jun who was later crowned King at the DOKIDOKI Night Ball. Jin frown a little as he thought about the ball. At that time, Ryo was going steady with his boyfriend Tegoshi Yuya while YamaPi didn’t bother to ask anyone because he was going to Hawaii with his family that night to attend a cousin’s wedding on Sunday. And so in the end, he was left alone. No date. No romance.

Kazuya was making the most of the spotlight, Jin noted with amusement. Halfway through the bidding, he began doing a little shuffle step across the stage, earning a scattering of applause and giggle. He bowed low, palms together and smiled charmingly with his hair flickering whenever he moves.

The first time Jin had really noticed him was at the beginning of the year, when he was assigned the desk in front of his in art class. Most of the time Jin found his self with a ridiculous longing to wind his fingers among those curly brown hair. The thought had made him blush furiously.

One of their assignments was to do sketch of each other and write a song. Tsuyoshi-sensei had paired them off according to the seating arrangement, so Jin had ended up with Kazuya.

“Hey, you’re really good! The sketch and most of all the song! You write this song on your own, aren’t you?” Jin heard the younger boy said admiringly when he showed him the finished sketch with his song. “Do you practice a lot? I mean the sketch. Or does talent run in your family? You’re gifted on writing ne!”

“Ahm—uh… my Okaa-san’s an artist,” Jin confessed shyly as he scratched his nose. “Or at least, she was—a long time ago before she married my Otou-san. Now, she’s a psychologist.” He explained with shy voice.

Well, you have to keep at it yourself and show others your talent ne,” Kazuya said. “Maybe you could go to art school after you graduated, and try sending your song you’ve written so you could be discovered! Wait—can you sing it?” The younger boy kept on talking adorably at him like they knew each other for the longest time.

Though Kazuya was charmingly chatting with him, this was a serious side he rarely displayed. He seemed to be cool, calm, friendly and kind with his friends.

“N-No—I’m not good in singing,” Jin denied, though most of his friends and family knew he was good at it. “A-Anyway, I’m planning on going to university but I don’t know what I want to major in. And I don’t know where I’ll apply yet. W-What about you?” He continued, trying to distract the younger about him singing.

Kazuya shrugged, a playful grin hiding any real feelings he might have had on the subject. “I don’t know. I doubt if I’ll get into any college with my grades and hang ups. Baseball is the only one thing that makes me inspired though. My counselor, Aiba-sensei calls it an ‘incurable case of sluggishness and bored ness.’ You’d better not get too close,” He teased, “it might be catching!”

Jin didn’t let on about his own A average, he was after all a smart kid but his clumsiness and being too curious smarty pants led him to be called Bakanishi. At the moment, he only wanted to share Kazuya’s casual attitude toward school—and life in general. Why couldn’t he relax more—learn how to just have fun, try new things? He couldn’t imagine or never in his dreams did he imagine Kazuya or any of his elite, prominent friends lying awake at night worrying about a test, the way he often did which only made Ryo and YamaPi slapped their faces in irritation because of his too much studying.

Almost nineteen, he really hadn’t done much dating. He felt shy and awkward going to dances with his friends and especially with girls. When everyone else was having fun, Jin had to work hard to keep smiling and to pretend he was having a good time. He didn’t have the ability for casual chitchat or the kind of teasing thrown back and forth between girls and boys. ‘Just be yourself, honey. Being you will make people come to you ’ was one of her mother’s favorite pieces of advice. Could he help it that plain old Akanishi Jin wasn’t exactly the kind of person who set DOKIDOKI High on fire?

Jin knew that he sometimes or most of the time tried to make funny gags but it always fail. YamaPi insisted that he had a sense of humor; he just had to ‘let it out more.’ Jin wasn’t so sure though. How could a person be serious and funny at the same time? “Face it,” He said at YamaPi one day, “either I have it or I don’t. There are simply no in-betweens. I’m just a failure to mix up with others.”

His social life was boring as he felt. Weeknights he spent studying or reading, sometimes watching TV. On Saturday he often rode her bike or went outside to look for good view to draw; at night he would invite or go see a movie with YamaPi or Ryo, when Ryo wasn’t out with Tegoshi. Once in a while, Ellen Kaga would call him up—they were just friends now—and girl would invite or forced him to go for a pizza or play video games.

Jin was certain Kazuya’s social life was much more exciting. The baseball heartthrob captain would have no trouble at all getting dates.

They hadn’t really talked again since that day in art class, but Kazuya said hi to him in class or gave a friendly wave and genuine smile whenever they saw each other in the halls. Little by little Jin realized that his daydreams about Kazuya were turning into a serious crush or love?

Jin thought he must be daydreaming now as he watched his best friend Ryo’s hand shoot up into the air.

“Eight hundred and fifty yen!” Ryo’s voice rang out over the auditorium which made Jin’s eyes comical went wide.

Another bid followed, and to Jin’s utter horror, YamaPi countered, “One thousand yen!”

“What the heck you two are doing?” Jin hissed at them with flushed face.

Ryo and YamaPi gave the oldest boy a sly look. “You’ll see…” They both said in synch.

Before Jin could protest further, a hush had fallen over the crowd, and he could hear Koyama chanting dramatically on the stage, “One thousand yen? Do I hear one thousand and five? Don’t tell me you’re going to let this yummy strawberry of a yoosei slip through your fingers? Just imagine the giggles and laughs you’ll get having him around…” The vice president waited for the noise to die down, then brought his heart-shaped gavel down with a crashing boom, and announced happily, “SOLD! To the boy in the fourth row for one thousand yen! You just break the record for the last years’ bidding amount! Omedetou!”

Kazuya gave a victory sign to the audience and then did a quick sprint offstage while Jin was so dumbfounded, he couldn’t find his voice. It didn’t make any sense at all! What were Ryo and YamaPi thinking of? They both had to know how he felt about Kazuya.

Jin was still in dazed with his paled face and gaping mouth when Ryo turned to him and spoke which made the whole thing really came into focus, suddenly making perfectly awful sense to him. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BAKANISHI JIN!” Ryo piped enthusiastically. “Told you it was going to be a big surprise, didn’t I? You never would have guessed, right?”

Jin forced a weak smile to cover up the feeling of panic that was welling up inside him. “Never in a million years.” He uttered silently.

“LOOK, Pi! Jin’s drooling! EWW~” Ryo teased.

“EWW~ Jin! Close your mouth Bakanishi! You’re little turtle is coming!” YamaPi followed with a chuckle.

Jin however was once again shocked and before he knew it, everything went dark.

I was really shocked today when I heard he’s already gone. Another legendary great singer once again said his goodbye. But even though he’s gone his great works will still remain and all the fans will still love him no matter what.

I really love his song Thriller and Heal the world

I totally into the steps of THRILLER! Lol! The song was thrilling itself which made all his fans hooked up and I even tried to copy the dance steps! Lol! XDD

And of course! The song HEAL THE WORLD… which made people cry and smile at the same time!

Chapter 15

“J-Jin.” Kazuya could only mumble silently as he took off his shades, he looked down to avoid the other’s deep brown orbs and froze, he never expected to see the older man once again. Though, he knew that the day will come that they will meet soon once again but not this SOON.

“Are you okay, Kamenashi? You look like you ate too much tomato this morning.” Jin coldly said which made the younger man turned to him.

Kazuya stared at that wavy long dark brown hair, white smooth skin, sharp smooth nose, plump but kissable lips which he had once tasted; pair of deep brown orbs that had once stared at him with love, longing and care, and the little mole near the left eye which was striking as always. The younger man knew too well that gentle handsome face and that fact alone made Kazuya hate him self, because no matter how many times he attempted to remove that face in his mind, he always failed miserably.

“A-Akanishi.” Kazuya uttered.

“Oh, so you still remember me? I thought you already forget about me.” The older man sneered sarcastically which made Kazuya cringed in irritation.

The younger man arched an eyebrow and straightened up as he looked directly at those unemotional eyes. “How could I ever forget a guy like you?” Kazuya snapped blankly, he remained himself composed but deep inside him, all the anger and hurt stirred up.

“Well, I just thought that maybe because there are lots of ‘people’ or let say ‘males’ around you back there in States, you might have already forgotten about me. Wasn’t it the same reason why you did those things to me?” Jin mocked with furrowed eyebrows, glaring at the younger man with his hands fisted.

Kazuya looked at the older in confusion. Wasn’t he the one who cheated on me? I’m supposed to be the one who’s mad here! He thought heatedly. “What those things? What do you mean by that?” He replied loudly, utterly confused. “Weren’t you the one who chea—” Before Kazuya could finish what he wanted to say, the elevator stopped with a weird snap noise followed by the lights which suddenly turned off.

“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? WHAT’S GOING ON?” Kazuya heard himself screamed in shock as he shakily but firmly held onto the wall.

“I don’t know. It might be the fuse or brownout. And will you please stop screaming like a girl? My eardrums will explode because of your loud high pitch girly voice.” Kazuya heard the older man answered him coldly once again as the other tried to search for something in darkness.

“I’m not a girl!” The younger man snapped angrily. If it wasn’t dark, he could have already punched the other man hard.

“I know, you’re not. I didn’t say you are. I just said you scream like a girl.” Kazuya once again heard the older man replied irritated.

“I AM NOT A GIRL! WHY WOULD I SCREAM LIKE A GIRL?!” The younger man angrily shouted through gritted teeth. If looks could kill, Jin could be dead right now, but the older man had luck because it was dark and that could only mean that Kazuya didn’t know where exactly the older man was.

“Fine, you’re not girl. Just stop shouting, I’m not deaf.” Jin replied blankly as he kept on groping in darkness.

DAMN THIS PIG! ARGH! Kazuya thought angrily as he crossed his arms and pouted. He was about to ask something to the other human with him when he felt a familiar soft hands roaming his body. He froze but his mind started to panic and that made him walked backwards to avoid those hands but to his bad luck the metal wall stopped him.

The younger just remained still and after a couple of minutes…

“ITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIII!” A loud screamed came which made the elevator shook a little, for Kazuya’s view point he felt the place shook.

“WHY DID YOU DO THAT FOR?! WHY DID YOU USE YOUR SHARP HARD HEAD TO HIT MY HEAD?!” Came the very angry voice of Jin who was now on floor, caressing his injured head and now, his injured butt because of the big impact when there heads bumped into each other.

“WHAT?! Don’t blame me! It’s not my fault! You’re the one who kept on touching!” Kazuya retorted furiously as he caressed his also injured head, his sight was a bit blurry because of the impact.

“SO? I’m just plainly looking for something! You don’t have to hit my head using yours!” The older man replied back, irritated.

Kazuya gritted his teeth in anger, he was totally in his limits but he tried really hard to control his anger. “I DIDN’T HIT YOU! I’m not that stupid as YOU ARE to use my head just to hit your OH-SO-EMPTY-WITHOUT-BRAIN head! It’s your fault! You kept on touching my body like it’s a feast or something!” Kazuya heatedly pointed out, trying to control himself from crushing the human in front of him like a lice.

“WHAT?!” Kazuya heard the older man exclaimed as the other stood up abruptly. “ME? Feasting your STICK BODY? For you information, I just accidentally touch your body. It’s your damn fault, you’re in my way.” Jin replied coolly which made the younger man fumed even more.

“IT’S NOT MY FAULT! YOU’RE JUST TOO BIG, YOU BIG PIG ASS! Aren’t you just plain stupid? Why didn’t you use your damn phone to have lights than searching for something you can’t even see?” Kazuya furiously stated as he crossed his arms on his chest tighter. “You’re such a BIG IDI—WHAT THE HECK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING NOW?!” The younger man exclaimed loudly as he pointed out his finger at the older man who slowly took off his coat, obviously ignoring the younger man’s ranting.

Jin heaved a deep sighed before glancing at the younger man. “I’m just trying to get comfortable. You don’t expect me to wear this damn thick coat while we’re here stuck in this damn hot elevator.” The older man said as he moved forward near Kazuya.

Kazuya stared at the older man incredulously and walked sideward beside the wall shakily to avoid body contact with Jin. Jin on the other hand didn’t pay heed on him and just kept on unbuttoning his shirt from first button then to the second button. When the older man was about to unbutton the third one, Kazuya couldn’t take it anymore.

“A-Akanishi, w-will you stop that already!? I-I k-know you like to-to be n-ude o-or something! But please don’t do it in front of me, not in front of my innocent eyes! Don’t you dare think about it!” The younger man shakily demanded loudly as he sat down on the floor and tried to cram himself on the wall.

“You think too much dirty perverted things, Kamenashi. What ‘innocent eyes’ are talking about? What do you think I’m going to do? Rape you?” The older man said with an arched eyebrow. “Don’t worry, ok? I’m not that even attracted with that stick body of yours so just relax.” Jin ironically added.

“You PIG!” Kazuya muttered angrily before he turned away from the older man and curled himself like a ball on the floor.

After seems like hours for Kazuya, he was starting to feel hot, the heat that was forming inside the elevator was unbearable as time goes by. And for the exact time, it was already 35 minutes when the elevator stopped. Kazuya had already tried everything to produce wind to ease the heat, he waved his both hands but it soon got tired, he even tried to use his shirt as a fan but still no use, he already took off his black denim vest but it was still hot, he wanted to strip off his shirt but knowing that he was not the only human being stuck in the elevator, he waved the idea off.

“ARGH! I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE! WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY DOING?! AREN’T THEY AWARE THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN HERE?!” Kazuya exclaimed angrily when another ten minutes had passed, he stood up furiously and stamped his feet angrily onto the wall and fisted his hands.

“They probably are trying to fix it.” A bored but calm answer came from Jin who was starting to get irritated of the situation and also starting to get fed up of the younger man’s enraged.

“If they are really trying to fix this damn elevator, we shouldn’t be still here for damn whole 45 minutes! You hear me? FORTY FIVE MINUTES!” Kazuya couldn’t help but angrily snapped. Though he was very angry, deep inside him, different emotions were starting to build up; fear, heat, and anger.

“SHUT UP, will you? Why are you even yelling at me as if it’s my entire fault that we’re stuck in this damn stupid elevator!” The older man replied with a loud voice, annoyed.

“If this isn’t your fault, then you need to do something! Try to use your damn phone!” The younger man demanded as he glared at the older man who was leaning on the metal wall for the whole time.

Kazuya saw the older man grimaced. “Don’t you think, I already did that? What could I possible do when there’s no signal in here at all?” Jin asked sneeringly.

“SHIT! Now, we’re totally stuck in here!” Kazuya exclaimed dejectedly as he plopped down on the floor once again, hugged his knees and buried his face on it.

An awkward silence filled the elevator for a while but then a sudden sound broke it.

“Hey, are you crying?” Jin suddenly asked when he heard a sob from the younger man.

Kazuya sniffed, trying to clear his voice. “I-I’m not. W-why w-would I?” He lied but his voice betrayed him. He was totally scared, he knew that. He wasn’t scared because the older man was there, he wasn’t scared because the elevator had a weird problem but he was scared because his chest was starting to tighten, he couldn’t breather normally. The darkness and the closed place made him shook uncontrollably; he was after all a claustrophobic.

Kazuya couldn’t stop his tears from falling, he couldn’t stop his body shaking in fear, and he couldn’t control his mind to not panic. He gripped his shirt hard as if trying to calm his self but failed miserably. He was still shaking non stop when suddenly a pair of warm arms wrapped around his shoulder. He stopped. His shaking body stopped. His breathing hitched for awhile. His panicking mind stopped. And his heart skipped a beat as those arms tighten around his body.

He knew who it was. He stiffened, he knew he felt relieved but he also knew that he was starting to panic once again.

“Everything will be alright.” A husky voice whispered directly to Kazuya’s ears.

Kazuya felt at ease but he was still hesitating whether he will push the other man or just let him be. For a moment he let those warm arms that had once he felt and the chest behind him comforted him but after a couple of minutes, a reality struck him.

I shouldn’t be doing this! I don’t want to make mistake once again! Not now! Not ever! Everything already change! He’s not important anymore! Kazuya reminded himself.

He quickly and harshly pushed the older man which led the other to stumble back with a confused look. And at the same time, the lights went on and the elevator door slide open.

Both of them turned to the opening to see many employees staring down at them with wide eyes.

Kazuya felt embarrassed. His gray shirt was crumpled; his black denim vest on the floor along with his shades. Because of humiliation, he quickly grabbed his things up and hurriedly walked out of the elevator, not daring to look back the other man who was left confused and shocked.

Kazuya quickly ran to the nearest rest room and splashed water on his face. He looked into the mirror and to his reflection.

Kazuya, He is way more important than that Akanishi Jin. You love him more than the one who had already hurt you so many times. He will always be the one for you now and for the future. Kazuya said to himself.

He took a deep breathe and sigh before smiling at himself through the mirror. He reminded himself to forget all those things that had just happened and told his self that he was here to visit his father.

As soon as he was done fixing his crumpled shirt, wore back his vest and put his shades on. He smiled for the last time onto the mirror and walked out of the rest room.

You will never ever going to ride elevator ever again if you’re alone with that man again. Kazuya swore to himself as he leisurely walked the path towards his father’s office.

“Hi. I’m here to see Kamenashi-san.” Kazuya said with a smile towards his father’s secretary.

The lady blinked once and twice before she smiled back at the man in front of him, obviously attracted to the man. “Good morning, sir but do you have any appointment with Kamenashi-sama?” The lady inquired with a flirtatious smile.

“No, I don’t have.” Kazuya replied shortly, a bit taken aback because of the way the girl smiled at him.

“Oh, I’m sorry sir but I can’t let you in. He’s very busy and can’t be disturbed.” The lady sadly informed Kazuya as she slowly touched Kazuya’s hand.

Kazuya arched an eyebrow and pulled his hand quickly. “I understand you’re just doing your job, Miss but I came to see my father.” He said with a politeness.

“Kazuya?” A familiar voice that Kazuya knew too well, he smiled and slowly turned to the owner of the voice.

“Otou—” Kazuya didn’t had a chance to finish what he was about to say when he saw the person beside his father which made his smile slowly vanished from his face.

Him again. Kazuya whispered to himself as he stared at the one and only Akanishi Jin.

“Kazuya? It’s really you! You’re back!” Kazuya heard his father exclaimed happily and ran towards him.

The younger man smiled at his father. “Yeah, I’m back! Tadaima, Otou—”

“I thought you’ll be back next week? But you’re already here! Mou~ why didn’t you tell me you’re going to be back soon! I could have picked you up!” Miroku cut off his son as he hugged the younger man tightly. “I missed you! Finally you’re back! I miss my DAUGHTER!”

“OTOU-SAN! I’m not a girl! I’m a male! I’m your SON! NOT DAUGHTER!” Kazuya whined as he pulled away from his father and stamped his feet childishly.

Miroku just chuckled and ruffled his son’s hair. “You never changed, Kazuya. You’re always the I’m-not-a-girl-I’m-a-boy child of mine.”

Kazuya pouted and crossed his arms childishly once again, hearing his father’s reply.

Miroku chuckled once again as he saw the pouting face of his son. “Stop pouting, Kazuya or your lips will be long, longer than Pinocchio’s nose.” The old man laughed as he pinched Kazuya’s nose.

“MOU~! OTOU-SAN!” Kazuya glared.

“Okay! Okay! I’ll stop now, so stop pouting already. You’re really cute while pouting, Jin here might fall in love with you.” The old man said as he patted Jin’s shoulder.

Both Kazuya and Jin stiffened and looked at each other for a while but the younger man was the one who looked away first.

“Anyway, you two already saw each other again, right?” Miroku teased with a bright smirk.

Kazuya was about to answer but the older man beat him to it.

“Yeah, unfortunately.” Kazuya heard Jin said coldly which made him frown.

How come he’s so angry?! I should be the one who’s mad here! DARN! Kazuya angrily thought as he glared at the older man and frowned. He was about to retort but his father had invited him to have lunch which he gladly accepted.

“Jin, do you wanna join us?” The younger man heard his father invited Jin.

The older man shook his head with an apologetic smile on his face and waved his hand. “I would love that, Miroku jii-san but I don’t think I can because I still have some more meeting and I still have class to attend to.” Jin politely declined.

“I see. Your old man is a lucky man to have a son like you, Jin ‘coz you’re a brilliant kid. You’re studying and working at the same time. We know that being an engineer is not that easy but you’re one of a kind. Keep it up. I know your parents are so proud of you and I’m totally honored to have an employee like you.” Miroku complimented as he patted Jin’s shoulder.

The older man embarrassingly scratched the back of his head as he slightly bowed at the old man. “That’s too much of a compliment, Miroku jii-san.”

“But it’s true, your expertise and creativity are your selling point.” The old man pointed out with a big smile. “And I may say that both of you and Kazuya here can be good partner too. A very skilled engineer and a very artistic architect and interior designer, you two can build a nice house.” The old man added meaningfully.

The words of the old man made Jin scanned Kazuya from head to toe like an evaluator. “Well, we still need to see that artistic side of his ne, Miroku jii-san.” Kazuya heard the older man said scornfully with a smirk.

Both the older men laughed which made Kazuya arched an eyebrow.

HOW DARE THIS PIG MAKE FUN OF ME IN FRONT OF MY OTOU-SAN?! ARGH! He even judged me already without me proving it! DAMN YOU, AKANISHI! Kazuya thought as he gritted his teeth and glared at the older man who was still laughing with his father.

When the laughter of the two subsided, Kazuya coughed to draw his father’s attention back to him. He felt out of place and worst he was made fun of.

Miroku chuckled and ruffled his son’s hair. “You never changed, Kazuya. You’re still the impatient son of mine.”

“Otou-san! I’m no longer a kid anymore!” The younger man whined and huffed which made the old man chuckled even more.

“Yeah, I know you must be big now but you will always be my little impatient daughter.” Miroku teased.

“MOU~ OTOU-SAN! I’m not a freaking girl! I’m your SON! Not a DAUGHTER~” Kazuya whined and pouted.

The old man laughed hard. “Okay! Okay! Fine, you’re not a girl but you look like one. Stop pouting now or your lips will go longer and sharper than Pinocchio’s nose.”

Kazuya crossed his arms on his chest and pouted even more.

“Miroku jii-san, I should be going now.” Jin interrupted politely.

“Oh, okay. See you first thing in the morning tomorrow. And great job for your presentation earlier.” Miroku said as he patted Jin’s shoulder once again.

Kazuya watched as the older man bowed politely at his father before biding his goodbye and left them. Kazuya frowned when the older man just passed through like he didn’t exist.

“PIG.” Kazuya muttered angrily.

Miroku who clearly heard his son just shook his head and sighed. “Nothing ever changed.”

Part 1

Both Kamenashi took their lunch on a famous restaurant around in Shibuya. They had a great lunch along with comical chatting about Kazuya’s life in America. After an hour and a half had passed, Miroku had told Kazuya that he needed to be back on the office for other appointments, the younger man just nodded and smiled at his father.

After the two Kamenashi bade their goodbyes with each other, Kazuya decided to take a walk or say, shopping, he was after all in the area of the famous SHIBUYA. He was really into shopping so he decided to buy new clothes.

Later than an hour, Kazuya was about to enter the 8^th clothing shop that day when someone called his name.

“HOLYSEXY! Is that you Kamenashi-kun?” A voice came behind him.

Kazuya turned around, and as soon as he recognized the person in front of him, he charmingly smiled. “Yeah, the one and only.” He said coolly but he chuckled a bit.

“You’re totally the Kamenashi Kazuya? I knew it! I thought you’re some kind of an idol!” The said person once again praised the younger man.

Kazuya laughed. “Oh come on, Misuzhima Hiro-kun, stop that! You never changed!” He hushed as he smiled at one of his high school classmates.

The guy named Hiro shrugged and grinned at the younger man. “Well, I just know how to appreciate beauty.” He said and then winked at Kazuya who felt a bit uneasy but he flashed a fake smile on the other.

Yeah, he never changed. He’s still the weird crazy classmate I know. Kazuya thought as he felt uncomfortable with the other.

“Where have you been anyway? Ever since we graduated back in high school, I never heard any news about you.” The other man suddenly asked.

“Well, I just came back from States. I studied there in college. My graduation was just last week.” Kazuya answered proudly with a big smile. He was after all proud of himself because he finished his studies with no worries.

“WOAH~! That’s great! I want to know more about your adventures back there, so how about a cup of coffee?” The Hiro guy invited the younger man sweetly. Though Kazuya felt uncomfortable with the other man, he decided to take the invitation; he after all needed someone to accompany him for the time being.

They both chatted enthusiastically as they walked to the streets of Shibuya, and decided to a have a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

“I want cappuccino with very light chocolate.” Kazuya politely said when a waiter came to take their orders.

“Macchiato for me and please use soy milk.” Kazuya heard his old classmate ordered.

The waiter bowed and smiled at them politely before walking away.

“So, do you have a girlfriend? Or… a boyfriend?” came the sudden question from Hiro which made Kazuya arched an eyebrow.

What a very straightforward guy. He said to himself.

The younger man just kept his stare at the other guy across him. He just stayed his blank but meaningful expression. When the waiter came back with their orders, Kazuya thanked the waiter before he took his drinks and sipped on it before looking straight to his companion.

“Well, I’ll let you guess for now.” Kazuya said meaningfully as he smiled widely the other who was totally amused.

“Oh come on, someone’s being shy.” The other teased and chuckled.

They both chuckled. Kazuya was about to say something when the other beat him to it.

“Hey, is that Jin?” Hiro said and stood up. “HEY, Akanishi Jin!”

“Oh, Hi Hiro!”

Kazuya froze on his seat when he heard that all too familiar husky voice.

DAMN! Him again. Kazuya thought as he almost face palmed himself.

“What are you doing here?” Kazuya heard a cold voice behind him, asking him.

Kazuya turned and looked up. “And what does it have to do with you?” He answered sarcastically with an arched eyebrow.

Jin shrugged but wearing his cold blank expression. “Well, nothing. I just thought you are with your father.” The older man said meaningfully as he stared at Kazuya then to the other man across him.

Kazuya glared at the older man with gritted teeth.

“Why don’t you join us dude, just for old time’s sake.” Hiro butted in, obviously and totally oblivious of the tension between the other two men who was now glaring at each other.

“I don’t want to intrude.” Jin replied with clenched jaw and was staring straight to the younger man’s brown orbs.

“You won’t because there’s really nothing to intrude.” Kazuya snapped with gritted teeth and fisted hands. He was trying to control his anger and keep himself cool but every passing seconds, the tension between them was going higher.

HOW DARE THIS MAN! ARGH! STAY CALM KAZUYA! Kazuya told himself.

The older man broke their glaring and just shrugged. “Well, then. Sure.” And pulled out the chair beside Hiro, across Kazuya and sat coolly.

There was an awkward silence before a waiter came to their table once again.

“Cappucino with very light chocolate.” The older man ordered shortly and demandingly.

Kazuya arched his sharp eyebrow once again with a frown. HOW DARE HE ORDER THE SAME DRINK AS MINE! He angrily thought as he grabbed his glass and sipped all the remaining liquid of it with fury.

As soon as he gulped all the liquids down, Kazuya abruptly stood up and took his shades on the table. “I think I should go now, Hiro-kun. I still have things to do.” He said and bowed slightly at the other man on the table who was a bit surprised.

“Oh~ so soon? I just got here.” Kazuya heard Jin chirped in ironically which made him looked at the older man with cold expression.

“Well, we’ve been here a little longer already so I have to go now. Bye.” Kazuya snapped frostily.

“I will walk you to your car.” Kazuya heard Hiro offered, but before the other man had a chance to stand up, he waved his hands.

“Don’t bother, Hiro-kun. I didn’t bring my car. I’ll just call a cab.” Kazuya politely said, turned around and left the two men.

Kazuya quickly walked out of the café and marched towards a certain area away from the Starbucks. He didn’t bother to call someone from home to pick him up; he just decided to wait a cab.

After 30 minutes of waiting, Kazuya heaved a deep sigh for nth time. He was having a hard time to get a cab because it was already rush hour time. He looked at his black leathered watch through his shades and he frowned, it was already 5 o’clock.

Kazuya sighed once again. It’s impossible to get a cab now. He thought miserably but he still waited patiently. When he saw a cab approaching towards him, he waved vigorously but he was shocked when the cab suddenly stopped and a couple suddenly opened the door and got in. Kazuya angrily clenched his fist.

“Damn it!” He hissed furiously and crossed his arms on his chest.

Kazuya was still busy muttering curses when he heard a loud beep-beep which made him turned towards the noise. He was amazed to see a gray Acura advanced sports car in front of him, shining like in those on the t.v commercials. He slowly took off his shades and placed in on his vest pocket.

The tinted window slowly slides down, and Kazuya almost banged his head when he saw the owner of the awesome car in front of him. It was none other than Akanishi Jin once again.

HIM AGAIN? Kazuya sighed.

“Come, I’ll drive you home.” Kazuya heard the older man offered. Though the offer might look like nice and kind, to Kazuya’s view point, he could still hear the arrogance on the older man’s tone.

The younger man looked away. “No need. I can manage.” He replied coldly.

“It’s already rush hour time. You’ll have a hard time picking a cab, especially now.” The older man reasoned out but Kazuya just shrugged.

“Then, it’s my problem.” Kazuya answered shortly. He knew he was totally and utterly being rude but who can blame who? His pride was on the way and he knew that if he will take the invitation, he will be in the big whole awkward ride home.

“Okay, if that’s what you want. Then, suit yourself.” The older man coldly replied before hitting the gas and the shining gray car drove fast Kazuya who was left frowning.

“PIG.” The younger man muttered in irritation or disappointment that the older man didn’t force him?

DON’T YOU DARE THINK ABOUT THINGS LIKE THAT, KAMENASHI KAZUYA! A loud voice from Kazuya’s mind screamed.

It’s already getting cold and dark, but Kazuya had no luck on getting a cab. Every time he waved at every cab that passed him, the cab had always been taken away by someone or worst the driver just ignored him.

Kazuya shivered for the nth time. He looked at his watch again and saw that it was already quarter to eight in the evening. He sighed and looked around but the street was almost empty.

Why is this happening to me? First, I was stuck on the elevator with that jerk then saw him with Otou-san then on the café then on the street with his damn shiny car! He really brings bad luck to me! ARGH! Kazuya thought madly.

When a drop of water came in contact with his delicate skin, Kazuya looked up and then rain drops already falling. He sighed once again.

How worse can this be? He dejectedly wondered.

He was getting soak. Very soaked. He didn’t bother to run or go to a place where he can’t be soaked; he was totally tired and upset. He was out of energy anymore. He hugged himself when the coldness of the air hit his skin. He slowly stroked both his arms to lessen the coldness but it didn’t work. The coldness and darkness already surrounded him.

Kazuya looked down gloomily and was about to walk when a light and a beepy noise came to distract him. He turned and saw the shiny gray sports car in front of him. He looked at it with blank expression until the car door was slowly opened.

“Hop in or you’ll get frozen out there.” Jin said coldly but there was a hint of worry and care on his voice.

Why is he here? Kazuya stared at him blankly, didn’t bother to respond.

“Are you deaf?” The older man mocked. “I said get in.” He said loudly and impatiently which made the younger man snapped out of his daze.

Kazuya was having a doubt whether he will take the offer or now, but when the rain was getting heavier, he didn’t had a choice but to take it. He quickly hopped inside the passenger’s seat and hugged his shaking body.

“Here.” Kazuya heard the older man said and he turned around to see Jin holding out a towel for him.

Kazuya hesitantly took it. “T-Thanks.” He mumbled quietly and was still surprise because of the other’s sudden behavior. One minute, he was mad and then after a minute he was being kind.

There was sudden awkward silence when the older man started the engine once again and switched the heater on.

“W-Why did you come back?” Kazuya asked silently when the car started to move.

Kazuya saw the older man shrugged, holding the steering wheel and looking at the street as he drove. “Well, I figured that it’s very impossible for you to get a cab especially now that it’s raining.” The older man explained uninterestedly.

The younger man looked outside the window and gripped the towel which was wrapped on his body tightly. “Thanks for coming back.” He said and smiled a little bit.

They fell silent once again but it was not that awkward anymore. When the red stop light came in view, Kazuya saw from the corner of his eyes that the older man took off his jacket.

“Here, use this.” Jin said as he held out his jacket for Kazuya who just blinked at it. The older man sighed, leaned closer and placed his jacket on the younger man’s shoulder. “There, it’ll help you get warmer.”

Kazuya felt his cheeks warm that was why he looked away quickly. “Thanks.” He mumbled shyly.

As soon as they reached Kamenashi residence, the older man took out a transparent umbrella and helped the younger one to get out of the car.

The younger man couldn’t help but felt weird and shy. He gripped the jacket around him as they walked towards the main door side by side.

Kazuya slowly opened the door and both of them went inside and took off their shoes.

“Tadai—” Kazuya was about to say ‘Tadaima’ when a loud shriek came.

“KAZU-CHII!” A very cheery bouncy voice came.

Kazuya slowly looked up and his eyes bit by bit went comically wide to see the person running towards him with open arms and before he knew it a big warm body engulfed him.

On the other hand, Jin who was beside the younger man watched the scene in front of him with confused eyes.

“T-Tomo-chii?” Kazuya said slowly, totally and utterly surprised to see the person hugging him, his none other than Yamashita Tomohisa, his CURRENT BOYFRIEND.

Gomen ne minna… but I won’t be updating any of my fics for a while… I’m really upset now… I’m so stupid.

I was about to update tonight but because of my stupidity, something happened that I really don’t know when, where and what was the cause of it… but I things for sure, I can’t retrieve it anymore.

And one thing that upsets me more… I’m such a pain-in-the-ass-clumsy-stupid-memory-loss-writer person. Sorry, I’m writing nonsense.

I’m really sorry minna… >.< I’m totally upset now and don’t have energy to fix anything.. I’m totally and completely stupid. You can kill me now. *cries* I can’t stop crying cause I’m totally depress upset sad and everything! I’m just a plain stupid.

Hontou nig omen minna… for now, I really don’t know when I’ll be updating. My file couldn’t be open, and if it was open.. only weird characters appears… I’m really upset. *cries*

Warning: Some of Kame’s drama characters are females. Boys kissing and hugging. *LOL* (this should be natural now, since this is a shounen ai fic!)

Chapter 14

“Don’t forget your luggage when you get off of the plane, okay? Don’t look out of window or you’ll faint or vomit. Don’t talk to strangers especially those black weirdo guys, okay? Don’t forget to put a sleeping mask when you sleep so no one’s going to check your beautiful face. And especially don’t forget to eat when—” A melodious but manly voice kept babbling but was stopped when someone put a finger on his kissable lips.

“Stop that ne? I’m not a kid anymore. I’ll do just fine. You don’t have to get worried about me.” A younger man smiled before getting his luggage from the other man who was staring at him lovingly. “I have to go now. It’s about time for me to go inside. Don’t push yourself too much on your work, ok? Bye bye ne? Take care. See you next week! I’ll miss you!” The smaller man said as he then tipped toed and kissed the other on the lips before he strode away.

The man who was left behind just smiled contently and shouted, “Just sent me a message when you’re already there, okay? I’ll call you!”

The smaller man turned around and smiled for the last time before he totally disappeared from those glass doors.

Kazuya slowly stirred from his sleep, he took off his sleeping mask and smiled to no one. He turned to his left and looked down to see the beauty of the land where he was borne.

Many years had already passed; it had been four years ago when Kazuya left Japan and his family behind to study in America. And now, after four years, Kazuya had already finished his bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Interior Designing. His family was so proud of him, they wanted to attend his graduation but they couldn’t because they gone really busy ever since his grandmother got sick.

Kazuya couldn’t point out what he really felt as he now stride out of Narita Airport, he felt excited, nostalgic, happy, and every emotions that could only make his stomach twirl non stop. He didn’t tell anyone his sudden come back, he only told his family that he’ll stay for one more month before he’ll come back to Japan. Well, he didn’t tell anyone except Yuya, his very own best friend. Even though he was away, he was still in contact with Yuya, also with his other best friend Ueda and of course with his overly protective twin, Ryo.

“KAME-CHAN~!” A cheery loud voice came as soon as Kazuya stepped out of the airport.

Kazuya smiled widely and waved vigorously. “Yuya-chan!” He said happily as he saw his best friend running towards him with a big uchiwa and there was a big print on it saying, ‘OKAERI! Kame-chan!’, along with a big picture of Kazuya.

Kazuya chuckled when he noticed it, he was about to say something to Yuya but the said man suddenly jumped on him.

“KYA~! Kame-chan! Kame-chan! Okaeri! It’s been a while ne? KYA~!” Yuya exclaimed while hugging Kazuya tight like a teddy bear. The younger man pulled away a bit and scanned Kazuya’s face. “You really changed, Kame-chan! I thought I saw an idol walking out of the door! But it was you! I really miss you, kame-chan!” The other shrieked and hugged Kazuya once again.

The older man chuckled and hugged his best friend back. “Tadaima, Yuya-chan! I miss you too!”

“IKOU! Let’s go now! There’s my car!” Yuya pulled away suddenly and dragged Kazuya cheerfully on his car. Kazuya couldn’t help but just smile.

Yuya didn’t change at all except for his now lean body and cute but not-chubby-anymore face. He looks more mature now but he’s still the Yuya, my best friend I know. Kazuya thought happily.

“How’s life in America ne, Kame-chan?” Kazuya heard Yuya asked as they were now on the street of Tokyo, Yuya was happily driving his cute white Volkswagen.

“Well, at first it was hard living on my own there. But it really helps me a lot to be an independent person. Being there even help me how to speak English more effectively and to socialize more. It’s really fun, I love my major.” Kazuya happily told his best friend with a genuine smile.

Yuya giggled. “I’m happy for you ne, Kame-chan. Seems like you have gained more confidence ne and more friends. Now I’m jealous.” The younger boy pouted childishly.

Kazuya laughed out loud and pinched Yuya’s nose. “You and Tat-chan will always be my only best friends ne!”

Yuya beamed widely at Kazuya before turning his concentration in driving.

“Ne… speaking of Tat-chan, how is he?” Kazuya asked curiously. “He didn’t tell me anything about what happened to him, like about his love life. He just always tells me to take care and do my best to my studies.”

Kazuya saw how Yuya smiled weirdly before giggling like a high school girl. “Well, Tat-chan’s already married ne. And as for me, I’m engaged now.” Yuya explained as he raised his left hand and showed the older man his engagement ring.

Kazuya’s eyes slowly went wide comically. “WHAT?!” He shrieked in shock. “T-Tat-chan’s already married???”

“Yep.” Yuya answered shortly, just smiling non stop.

“I-I remember you telling me that Shige already proposed to you but T-Tat-chan??? MARRIED? With WHO?! He didn’t tell me! And you also didn’t tell me!” Kazuya asked incredulously.

“Well, that’s our surprise for you ne… You’ll know who, when we get there. But for now, I’ll let you guess who it was.” Yuya teased and smiled meaningfully which only made Kazuya pouted.

“You two are so mean! I thought you two are my best friends!” Kazuya sulked.

“Just… Believe and be Surprise!” Yuya giggled as he said those words he usually used to Shige whenever they will make stupid magic tricks.

Kazuya just kept sulking.

“Tadai—” Kazuya happily said as he opened their wooden gate and walked in but was cut.

“OH MY~! KAZUYA HONEY!” A loud shrieked came which made Kazuya smiled widely, hearing that familiar shriek of his mother really made Kazuya felt pleased to be back again in his home. Kazuya saw how his mother thrown the water host she was just holding earlier to water her flowers and was now running towards him with teary eyes and arms wide open to hug him.

Kazuya beamed. “Tadaima, Okaa-san. I miss you.” He said before his mother hugged him tight while crying.

“O-Okaeri, Kazuya honey. I miss you too! It’s been a long time since I last saw you.” Shizuku sobbed as she was still hugging her son tightly.

“II NA…” Yuya who was beside them smiled joyfully as he saw the beautiful and loving scene in front of him. “Now, I want to go home and hug my Okka-chan, Obaa-chan and Shiggy-chan!” He continued as tilted his head cutely.

Kazuya laughed and just hugged his still crying mother but after a couple of minutes… “O-Okaa-san, I… c-can’t… b-breathe…”

Kazuya heard Yuya laughed hysterically which made the older man pouted and glared at the younger man.

“Shizuku obaa-chan, you should loosen your hug now or Kame-chan will die sooner or later because of lack of air.” Yuya said, still laughing.

Shizuku pulled away slowly. “Gomen ne? I’m just happy that you’re back now, Kazuya honey.” She apologetically said and then she scanned her son from head to toe. “You are so grown up now. You’ve really grew up just a fine good looking man! Like a Hollywood star! And you gained height and weight! You were just like this when you were in senior high but now… you’re a bit taller than before!” Shizuku babbled really fast as she made weird gestures which only made Kazuya and Yuya chuckled. “And you gained weight too! You’re not skinny anymore! Look! You have meat here!” She exclaimed as she poked Kazuya’s cheeks, arms and stomach.

“Mou~ Okaa-san! Stop poking!” Kazuya pouted childishly but a warm smile appeared on his lips.

“Why didn’t you tell us you’re going back now ne? We could have picked you up and we could have prepared a party or something ne!” His mother whined.

“I just want to surprise you all, that’s why I didn’t tell you except Yuya who’s one of my accomplice. Right, Yuya-chan?” Kazuya smirked and turned to his best friend who was just quietly watching them.

“HAI! ROGER!” Yuya chirped.

“I’m sure Otou-san, Yuto and especially your twin will be really surprise! They really missed you!” Shizuku said as she clasped her both hands. “OH! Wait! Let’s go inside ne! You must be tired honey and you too Yuya-kun, let’s have a snack inside!” She offered.

Yuya waved his hands. “Oh, no! Thanks Shizuku baa-chan! Well, I really have to go now. Hehe…” He blushed. “Me and Shiggy-chan still have to meet today.” The younger boy continued with flushed face.

Both Shizuku and Kazuya smiled teasingly. “Kya~! So sweet!”

“Mou~! Kame-chan! Baa-chan!” Yuya whined as he lowered his head and wiggled childishly.

Kazuya chuckled. “Okay, stop wiggling! Go now! Or Shige-kun will get worried ne! And tell Shige-kun I said ‘HI’ to him. Thanks for the ride earlier.”

“Yeah, take care ne, Yuya-kun. Thanks for picking up my adorable son. Have a nice date!” Shizuku chirped in.

Yuya just smiled and blushed as hugged his best friend and waved at Shizuku before he left.

As soon as Kazuya entered their house, he felt nostalgic and he almost cried in happiness.

I really missed this place. Finally, I’m back at my home now. Kazuya thought gladly.

For the whole as Kazuya entered their house, he and his mother had a really long chit chat about his life in America. His mother Shizuku had kept on asking and talking non stop until Kazuya would just laugh. They talked for about two hours while eating the snacks his mother prepared. And after that, when finally Shizuku noticed that she talked too much and noticed that her son must be tired, she let him go.

“I think, I really talked too much now.” Shizuku laughed and smiled sweetly at her son. “You should take a rest now. I know you’re tired from your trip.”

A very content smile appeared on Kazuya’s lips. “Thanks, Okaa-san. I’ll retire now. I really missed you, Kaa-san.” He said before he stood up and walked to his mother and hugged her lovingly.

“Mou~ Honey, don’t make Okaa-san cry again ne. You know how emotional I am.” Shizuku said as she whined the tear that fell from her eyes.

The young man pulled away with a happy face. “When Otou-san, Yuto and Ryo nii-chan came back, don’t tell them yet that I’m already here ne? I want them to be really surprise.”

“Okay! That’s a plan then ne?” Shizuku approved as she raised her fist in the air.

“Hai!” Kazuya nodded. “I’ll go rest now, Okaa-san.”

“Okay! Go have a nice nap!” Shizuku chirped. “I’ll go prepare foods for dinner!”

Kazuya just smiled once again at his mother and pleased to see his mother’s back while preparing to cook something.

You never changed, Okaa-san. You’re still the loving and caring mother I’ve always been proud of. Kazuya thought contented before he turned around and leave the kitchen, walked towards the stairs and to his room.

As Kazuya entered his room, he hurriedly plopped down on his bed with a big contented smile. The room was still the same, though he was gone for four years, the room still remained clean and nice. Kazuya was sure his mother had cleaned it everyday.

“Welcome back, Kamenashi Kazuya.” He told himself with a smile before he fell into deep slumber.

“Okaeri, Kazu.” A husky voice came which made Kazuya turned around and was a bit shock to see the man in front of him.

“Jin.” He mumbled silently.

“Do you miss me?” Kazuya heard the older man asked as he was slowly approaching Kazuya who just stared at him blankly.

“It’s been a while ne?” Jin said slowly. The younger man saw how his bed dipped when the older man sat beside him and reached out to touch his cheek. “I really missed you.”

Kazuya wanted to back away from those hands that had just cupped his face but his body didn’t cooperate with him and just stayed still. He just stared at the handsome face that was now slowly leaning closer to his.

As soon as those full kissable lips touched his pouty lips, Kazuya unconsciously closed his eyes. He felt the older man’s lips were moving gentle with his. He wanted to respond and when he was about to do it, the older man suddenly pulled away and stood up.

“You’re just mine, Kazuya. Mine.” Kazuya heard Jin said before walking towards his door and left.

Kazuya abruptly sat up from his bed and looked directly on his bedroom door.

It’s just a dream, right? Kazuya asked himself as he touched his lips and then he shook his head. That’s impossible! He didn’t even know that I’m back!

Darn! Kazuya! Just stop thinking about him! He’s not worth it! You left Japan for four years to forget him, right? Then, don’t waste your time on him! It’s just a nightmare! Kazuya lectured himself.

After taking deep heavy breathes, Kazuya straightened up; he reached for his cell phone on his night stand and looked through it.

That’s weird. He said he’ll call me as soon as I sent him a message saying that I’m already here but he didn’t call. Kazuya wondered and pouted as he kept staring at his phone waiting for a certain person to call.

He sighed and stood up. As soon as he looked at his clock, he hurriedly walked towards his closet and took out a towel before going to his bathroom to take a shower. He knew it was about time his father and his two brothers will be home.

When he was done taking shower after 15 minutes, he quickly wore his comfy clothes before walking downstairs. He could hear laughter from their dining-kitchen area.

He smiled widely before entering the said area.

“TADAIMA! MINNA!” He exclaimed with arms in the air.

Four heads turned to look at him and then three pairs of eyes went comically wide.

“KAZUYA!” A loud exclaimed escaped from three guys.

Kazuya smiled to everyone as he looked at them, first he looked at his mother who just smiled at him, then to his younger brother, Yuto who was gaping like a fish while staring at him, then to his one and only overly protective twin, Ryo whose eyes are still wide and then his eyes fell from someone he didn’t expect to be there.

“Tat-chan?” Kazuya confusedly stare at his best friend who was currently also shocked because of his sudden appearance.

After seems like years, Ueda smiled at him. “Okari, Kame-chan!”

“T-Tat-chan?” Kazuya just blinked and stared confusedly at his best friend. He didn’t know why his best friend was there. He knew he should be happy, and he was but he was just confused. He felt that something was off.

“Kazuya honey, stop staring at Tatsuya-kun like that ne! Just sit already and eat.” Shizuku interrupted.

“KYA~! It’s really you, Kazuya nii-chan! Right? It’s you, right? I’m not just dreaming, right?” Yuto kept on rubbing his eyes and after the 10^th times, he stood up and ran towards his brother and hugged him tight. “Kazuya nii! It’s really you! I missed you!”

Kazuya chuckled and hugged his younger brother. “I’m home. I missed you too, Yuto. You’ve really grew up so fast!”

“MOU~! Kazuya! Why didn’t you tell us you’re going back so soon!” Ryo stood up angrily but was soon hugging Kazuya even tighter. “You just phoned us yesterday that you’ll be back next week! You’re so mean! But I missed you!”

Kazuya couldn’t help but laughed at how cute his two brother’s attitude towards him.

“I missed all of you ne!” Kazuya said as he pulled away from his brothers. “If I told you I will be back this soon, it wouldn’t be called a surprise ne!” He chuckled once again and pinched Ryo and Yuto’s cheeks.

“MOU~!” His two brothers whined in synch.

“Stop whining already, you two sounds like a cow~” Kazuya teased as he ran away from them and sat next to his best friend Ueda who was just watching them with a shy smile. “Anyway, Tat-chan, why are you here?”

The younger man saw how his best friend stiffened and blushed.

“W-well, ah… I-it’s beca—” Ueda was about to say something but was stopped when he felt an arm on his shoulder.

Kazuya stared in front of him with confusion and a bit shock. “Ryo nii-chan?” He stared at his twin brother who was now beside Ueda with an arm on the other’s shoulder and smiling at him.

“Well, Kazuya. If you have a surprise for us, we also have a surprise for you. Me and Tatsuya here…” Ryo paused for a bit to look at Ueda and smiled sweetly. “We’re already married.”

“EH?!” Kazuya exclaimed, utterly shocked and before he and his family knew it, he fainted.

“Kazuya nii-chan.”

“Kazuya?”

“Kame-chan?”

Kazuya slowly opened his eyes and saw three heads above him, looking at him with worried eyes. He slowly sat up and noticed that they were already at the living room.

“Are you okay, Kazuya?” Ryo asked worriedly. “You were really shocked about it, aren’t you?”

“Well, isn’t it obvious, Ryo?” Kazuya heard Ueda mumbled. “It’s your fault.”

“Hey, it’s not entirely my fault! I just told him the truth!” Ryo defended.

“But at least tell him in a nice way, not blurting it out straightly.” Ueda retorted.

“I just want him to be surprise! And what do you want me to do? Just keep it a secret?” Ryo pouted and stood up heatedly. “You really don’t want me to be your husband, aren’t you?”

“He was surprised, alright. TOO SURPRISED which made him fainted like that.” Ueda replied calmly as he also stood up, now facing the super pouting Ryo. “Well, to tell you the truth, I don’t want you to be my husband… ‘Coz you’re my wife.”

Ryo stared at Ueda with big wide eyes. He was about to whined when the room was bombarded with laughter.

Both Ryo and Ueda turned around and saw two people laughing their ass out on the floor.

“Y-You know, I really didn’t expect that you two will end up together ne!” Kazuya chirped in as he caressed his stomach, still laughing really hard.

“Yeah! I agree with you. Kazuya nii!” Yuto followed.

Ueda blushed and lowered his head shyly. He felt exposed in front of his best friend. He and Ryo have been secretly having their relationship behind all people especially to Kazuya. They thought that it was for the best, knowing that they were both males and especially at those times when they were still in senior high, they wasn’t really sure yet about their feelings with each other. But in the end, they knew that they really loved each other and because they don’t want to be separated, they decided to get married.

“Hey you four grown ups! Stop teasing and laughing and just come back here to finish your dinner! The foods going to get cold.” They all heard Shizuku shouted from the dining-kitchen area.

“Hai!” The four of them answered in synch.

Ueda and Ryo was about to stepped forward, Kazuya stopped them. “Ryo nii-chan, Tat-chan, don’t forget to tell me every thing about your relationship ne? You two have lots of explaining to do for me!” The younger man demanded which made the two older men blushed and walked hurriedly back to the dining area.

Kazuya couldn’t help but smile evilly.

I finally am happy to be back.

The next day, Kazuya woke up late that morning. He knew he got too excited chatting with his brothers and with his now brother-in-law best friend Ueda. He couldn’t help himself to be so energetic last night and that only made him go to bed at exactly one o’clock in the morning.

Kazuya slowly sat up and stretched his arms for a while before standing up and opened his white curtains. A warm smile appeared on his lips when he saw the shiny sun in front of him.

After a couple of minutes, he hurriedly went to his bathroom and took a bath before walking downstairs to greet his parents and brothers. But as soon as he reached the living room, he only saw his mother reading a book.

“Ohayo, Okaa-san.” He said happily and sat beside his mother. “Where’s everyone?”

“Ohayo, honey. Did you have a nice sleep?” Shizuku greeted back and smiled sweetly before putting down the book she was reading. “Yuto went off to school, Ryo and Tatsuya-kun went to their work and Otou-san had just called that he’s already in the office.”

“Eh? Why didn’t he go home first? He must be tired from his trip too.” Kazuya asked worriedly about his father who had just came back from his meeting to Singapore but didn’t go home yet.

“Kazuya honey, you know Otou-san. He’s too workaholic.” Shizuku said as she giggled. “Anyway, what do you plan for today? You should go meet your friends, I’m sure they missed you a lot.”

“I don’t think they are free, Kaa-san. They have work. I think I should just message them first.” Kazuya said and paused for a while. “I think I’ll pay Otou-san a surprise visit. What do you think, Kaa-san?” He asked mischievously.

Shizuku chuckled. “I think he will be really surprise to see a very fine good-looking man who is the one and only Kamenashi Kazuya, his son.”

“Jya, I should go and change now ne!” Kazuya quickly stood up and smiled at his mother before storming back to his room. Shizuku just chuckled once again before standing up and walked towards her garden.

Kazuya blissfully went to his room and stopped in from of his closet, he smiled when he saw that all of his clothes were now on his closet, thanks to his mother. He thought for awhile to what to wear in this kind of day, it was summer so he needed simple but comfy nice clothes. Ever since he had stayed in America, he began to be fond of clothes, he really loves to go shopping with his classmates and now, he was to meticulous to choose outfit. After a minute, he took out his grey shirt with white circle printed on it; he also took out his black denim vest, a pair of faded blue jeans and a pair of dark brown boots.

When Kazuya was done putting all the clothes he chose, he quickly look at his reflection on his whole body mirror and he smiled, satisfied. He also put accessories, like a gold earring on his left ear, silver with diamond cross necklace, a black wrist watch, a skull ring, a silver pinky ring with designer’s symbol and a yellow skull bracelet. And for the last touch, he flipped a strand of his bangs. (To see Kazuya's out fit, clicky here!)

Kazuya only took his wallet, cell phone and a shade before hurriedly stormed out of his room and the house. He cheerfully waved at his mother who just smiled at him and went off.

As soon as Kazuya entered the building where his father work, all heads turned to him, males especially females stared at him with admiration, envy and lust. Kazuya ignored it all; he was after all used to it.

When Kazuya saw that the elevator was about to close, he hastily ran for it and was glad that a hand stopped it for him to go inside.

“Thank you.” Kazuya said in fluent English as he walked inside, not bothering to look up to see who helped him.

“You’re welcome, Kamenashi.” A husky voice which made Kazuya froze in his spot and went pale.

Kazuya slowly looked up and through his eye glasses, he saw the man he never wanted to see. “J-Jin.”

Chapter 13

When Monday came, Kazuya tried to hide the hurt feelings deep inside his fragile heart. He needed to be strong for his self, he didn’t want Leah to be satisfied on hurting him, and he especially didn’t want to let Jin see him weak.

Before Kazuya entered their classroom, he heaved a deep breathe and smiled widely.

“Ohayo! Minna!” He greeted as he opened the sliding door.

The entire classroom went silent. All heads turned to him, all eyes were filled with concerned except for the 2 pairs of eyes.

Yuya who was sitting next to Ueda stood up abruptly and ran to hug Kazuya. “Kame-chan! Where did you go last night? You scared me ne!” The younger boy asked with worry and pulled away, waiting for Kazuya’s answer.

“You said you’re just going to the restroom, we waited for you but you didn’t come back.” Ueda followed with concerned expression as Kazuya sat on his chair.

Kazuya felt guilty for not calling and telling his best friend what had happened. He decided not to let them know about what exactly happened although he would tell them that he just went back home.

But before Kazuya even say a thing, someone stopped in front of him. He saw an evil smirk printed on the said person staring at him.

“Yeah, Kamenashi-kun. Tell us where did you go last night ne?” Leah asked cheekily as she sat on Kazuya’s desk, innocently smiling at him like a cat.

“You really don’t know what the meaning of ‘SHUT UP’, aren’t you? You want me to spell it for you huh? You’re not even supposed to be here. This is an exclusive school for BOYS, BOYS you hear me? You bitch.” Yuya barked as he stood up and was about to pull the girl’s hair but Ueda stopped him.

“Stop, Yuya.” Ueda bellowed calmly before turning his head to Leah. “You should close that sharp mouth of yours, or I’ll do it for you.” He coldly said.

Leah even smirked widely. “Well, I’m Jin’s girlfriend that’s why I’m here. And I’m just simply trying to ask him too ne.” She replied with tilted head.

Ueda glared at her. “You’re not asking him. You’re insinuating something.”

“YEAH! You—armpfh!” Yuya exclaimed but soon his mouth was covered, he turned and saw Shige staring back at him with apologetic smile and mouthed ‘calm down, you’re not helping’ which made Yuya pouted and shut his mouth for good.

“Why don’t you just answer her, Kamenashi-san? You just suddenly disappeared out of the thin air, no one even saw you.” A voice interrupted them. All heads then turned to Jin who suddenly appeared next to Leah and wrapped an arm on her shoulder while Leah smiled seductively and snuggled closer which made Kazuya almost puked.

“I don’t have to answer any of your questions, especially your question.” Kazuya snapped coldly as he turned to Jin and then to Leah. “Whatever I do is my own business.”

Kazuya saw how Jin grimaced as he loosened his hold to Leah and fisted his hands hard.

“Oh really? Or you just simply don’t want us to know who you are with?” Jin retorted with gritted teeth.

“What do you care anyway?” The younger boy asked back. Kazuya was hoping that the older boy will answer him with, ‘because I love you’ or ‘because I’m worried about you’ but his hopes broke into pieces when he heard Jin’s reply.

“I don’t really care. I’m just curious.” Jin frostily said.

Those words stabbed repeatedly hard into Kazuya’s heart.

Though he was hurting, he put his blank bored mask in his face. “Then I guess, you really don’t have to know.” He coldly snapped and looked away when he saw the older man wrapped an arm around Leah’s waist.

“Nee~ You should be nice ne, Kamenashi-kun! Just tell them that you left with that guy last night. I saw you two with my own eyes.” Leah chirped in devilishly as she leaned in to level with Kazuya’s face. “I know just slept with him. You’re such a sl—ITAI!”

Leah shrieked, and was shocked that she was now already on the floor with her butt aching. She looked up and went pale.

All heads turned to the one who suddenly grabbed Leah’s arms and throw her on the floor and they were all shocked, especially Jin.

“You’re the slut,” Ryo growled angrily as he glared at the flustered girl. “I’m with him last night and whatever Kazuya do is none of your damn business, lady. Don’t you ever talk to him like that or I’ll wreck your pretty neck next time or better yet, I’ll do more than that so you can never see the beautiful sun.” He menacingly said with a dangerous smirk.

Kazuya saw it all, how his twin stormed angrily towards them and it all happened in a flash. He couldn’t believe that Ryo could do such thing in a girl, but he knew too well that his twin will do every thing just to protect him even if he will hurt a girl or a boy.

Kazuya was in daze and before he knew it, Ryo already grabbed his bag and helped him to stand up. “Let’s go, Kazuya. I already excuse you to Yamaguchi-sensei.”

“Yuya, Tatsuya, thanks for taking care of my brother for today, we’ll leave now.” Ryo said to Yuya and Ueda who was still in shocked before he gently grabbed Kazuya’s hands and they both walked towards the door.

But before they reached the door, Kazuya was a bit confused why his brother stopped but didn’t turn his head back.

“I can’t believe what I just saw and heard, Jin. I’m so disappointed of you.” Ryo dejectedly said which made Jin looked down guiltily.

“Bye guys.” Kazuya could only said to his friends and before he and Ryo walked out of the room, he heard Jin said “I hope you’re satisfied now, Leah.” Kazuya wanted to look back but his twin’s firm grip didn’t allow him to do so.

Kazuya and Ryo walked through the hallway with silence.

“I won’t ask you what happened, Kazuya because I know you have a good reason, but please don’t let them hurt you like that.” Ryo finally broke the silence when they reached his car.

“Gomen, Ryo nii-chan. And… thank you, if you didn’t come… I-I really d-don’t know what to do.” Kazuya said quietly and shakily. A tear finally fell from his eyes; he let it fell because he knew he couldn’t hold it anymore.

Ryo wiped the tears that were falling from his brother’s cheeks. “You know I will do anything for you and I won’t let anyone hurt you.” He said soothingly.

“Thank you again ne? I’m so lucky to have a twin like you.” Kazuya smiled weakly and Ryo beamed at him before helping him to get inside the car.

“Anyway, Ryo nii-chan, why were you there?” The younger boy asked suddenly when Ryo climbed to the driver’s seat.

“Oh, well… Kaa-san asked me to check you up ‘coz she noticed that you were a bit pale earlier and well, I guess, it was destined for me to walk in that time, to protect you.” Ryo said as he started the car engine.

Kazuya fell sad as he remembered what had just happened, it was like Jin and Leah teamed up to hurt him intentionally.

The younger boy suddenly turned to his brother and held the other’s hand. “Nii-chan, please don’t tell Kaa-chan and Tou-chan what had just happened, okay?” He pleaded. “I don’t want them to get worried.”

Ryo heaved a deep sigh before lifting his right hand and pinched Kazuya’s nose playfully. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell them but please try to be happy so they don’t get worried.”

The younger boy smiled weakly and nodded. “Un! I will, I promise I won’t let them hurt me again.”

The next day, Kazuya didn’t want to attend his class but he remembered what he had just promised to his twin that he won’t let them hurt him again. So, in the end, Kazuya decided to go to school and tried all his best to be cheerful and happy even though every time he saw Jin with Leah hugging like there was no tomorrow, his heart kept bleeding non stop.

“Nee, Kame-chan, want me to slash her skin so she’ll be a skinless bitch?” Kusano suddenly said angrily as they saw Jin along with Leah walked pass them while giggling and flirting with each other.

“Kusano!” Koyama warned quietly but the younger boy ignored him.

“Or I’ll just tie her up on a tree then I’ll put gas on it and burn her to death?” Kusano continued.

“Yeah! I agree with you!” Koki and Yokoyama chirped in synch. And unknown to the three, four pairs of eyes were widen in shock.

“Kusano. Koki-kun. Yoko-kun.” Shige calmly called out to stop their friends but was ignored.

“Or maybe… let’s just put her on an empty cabinet then lock it and throw it on the sea! Isn’t it perfect?” Koki proudly said as he stood up and laughed evilly.

Yoko and Kusano followed. “YEAH! VERY PERFECT! Bwahaha!”

Four pairs of eyes: Shige, Koyama, Uchi, and Massu stared at them incredulously.

“Will you three just shut up? You’re totally not helping to cheer Kame.” Ueda snapped threateningly which made the three froze in fear and sat shakily back to the grass. They were currently on the field and having their lunch break.

All of them turned to look at Kazuya who was busy eating his bentou.

Kazuya looked up and smiled. “I’m totally fine, guys. Let’s just leave them alone. Sooner or later, they’ll just get tired of each other.” He smiled again before returning his focus to eat his food. He lied once again. He knew he was totally not fine, but he also knew that he can get over this painful reality… soon.

Days had passed by really fast, days that were full of Jin and Leah’s sweet actions with each other which tortured Kazuya every day. Kazuya noticed that the older boy was intentionally doing those things to hurt him but he was totally confused, he didn’t know what went wrong. Wasn’t he supposed to be the one who was mad at Jin because the older boy cheated on him? He was really and totally confused. But he let it all go, knowing that he will never get the chance to know the real reason behind Jin’s behavior towards him. Time had flew so fast and before Kazuya knew it, it was already their last day before graduation.

It was afternoon when Kazuya was packing his things up, they had just finished their last graduation demonstration practice and now he was about to go home when someone approached him.

“Hi, Kamenashi-kun. Can I talk to you for a minute?” A guy from class D said with a shy smile. Kazuya had only met the guy the other day when they were in practice, he wanted to ignore the guy but he saw in the corner of his eyes that Jin was looking at them.

Kazuya straightened up and smiled at the guy. “Sure, what is it?” He asked loudly when he saw that the older boy was looking and listening to them with furrowed eyebrows.

“I really like you, is it okay if we go out?” The guy said frankly which made Kazuya arched an eyebrow.

Kazuya smiled awkwardly but said, “Well, I’m sorry. Can’t. I’m not like some one out there who will just simply go out with random people.” He said meaningfully but he looked at the guy in front of him apologetically. “Just go find a girl to date with, I’m a guy.” He added. He knew he sounded rude but he just could not take it anymore, especially those guys who kept on saying ‘I want to go out with you’ and ‘I like you’ to him like he was a freaking girl.

“Oh, then I guess I have to go now.” The guy bade his goodbye sadly.

When the guy left, Kazuya went back to what he was doing. He was done packing his things and was about to go out of the room when Jin approached him.

“Hmmm… Another prospect, huh?” Jin said meaningfully with a frown.

“So, what? It’s not your damn business anyway.” Kazuya grimly retorted before turning away. He was about to step his foot forward when he felt a hand on his wrist. He froze but he hurriedly pulled out his hands harshly.

“Don’t you dare touch me with your dirty hands ever again.” Kazuya snapped coldly before storming out of the room, leaving a very shocked Jin.

After that incident, Jin never bothered to talk or even look at Kazuya. The heated and painful circumstances came to an end as their graduation came. Kazuya decided to forget everything that was all connected to Jin and especially Jin. Even if it takes time, he will make himself forget all of it, all of the hurt.

So, Kazuya decided to continue his studies abroad, he told his parents and they supported him with all their heart knowing that the younger boy was having a decision for him to move on. They knew nothing about Jin and Kazuya but they can feel the sadness from Kazuya who was once a very naughty but cheerful person.

A little scene you don’t have to miss:

Ueda was pulled back out from his daze when he felt a non stop poking on his cheek.

“Tat-chan~” Yuya leaned in with a meaningful look.

Ueda sat up straight, he felt conscious because of the way Yuya was staring at him with ‘I-have-found-something-interesting-ne?’ look. He frowned and put his bored expression. “What?”

“KYA~!” Yuya suddenly exclaimed. “Nee… I just noticed something ne!” The younger boy stared at the older boy with shiny big eyes.

Ueda gulped. “W-what?”

“Ryo-chan called you… TATSUYA!!!! KYA~! Isn’t it a bit unusual ne???” Yuya bounced happily which made Ueda’s eyes wide in shock. “He usually called you fish lips or fairy or blah…blah..blah”

How did he notice that after all what had just happened back there??? Ueda wondered in alarm as he ignored Yuya’s babbling.

“Neee…. Nnneeeee!! Tat-chan! Is something between you and Ryo-chan???” Yuya asked as he grabbed Ueda’s shoulder and shook him slightly.

“I-I-iie! I-It’s n-not l-like t-that a-at a-all!” Ueda stuttered as he quickly stood up, almost making his table and chair fall and break.

“EH?! MOU~ Tat-chan! I know you’re hiding something! Tell me ne! tell me~~” Yuya flailed his hands and pouted.

Ueda looked everywhere in panic and when he saw that the classroom’s door was wide open, he hurriedly ran out of the room.

“TAT-CHAN~~~ TELL ME NE! YOU’RE SOOO MEAN! I THOUGHT WE’RE BEST FRIENDS!!!” Ueda heard Yuya whined loudly which echoed in the whole building. He was lucky that there was no students and teachers anymore.

Chapter 12

“KYA~! Kazuya honey! You’re so gorgeous!” A loud shrieked came when Kazuya came down on the stairs. He was glad that he didn’t forgot to put both of his hands on his ears, knowing that someone, in particular his mother Shizuku, will go wild seeing him fully dress in a cool outfit.

Though Kazuya was a bit annoyed, he smiled nonetheless to his mother’s cute gestures, smiling widely with hands clasped and eyes twinkling staring at him. “Kaa-chan, I’m just wearing my casual clothes. Well, it’s a bit semi-formal but you don’t have to be so excited about it.” He chuckled.

Truth to be told, Kazuya was just wearing his casual semi-formal clothes, a white plain linen cotton long sleeve smart shirt; two buttons up hang opened which exposed his smooth collarbone along with a dirty white vest, a pair of denim black pants along with a white leather belt, and a pair of black leather heavy boots. His only accessories were black leather bracelet, a small silver earring on his left ear, and a silver necklace which holds a pinky ring, the gift he received from his Jin. And his hair style was a bit spiky. He wanted to look good for his love, wishing that the other was going to pick him up.

“Whoah~ Kazuya! You do look good on your clothes. But I look much better ‘coz I’m the only sexy Osaka man.” Ryo chirped in jest, laughing like a mad man as he walked down the stairs.

Kazuya pouted but he couldn’t help but chuckled at his twin’s antics. “How many times do you have to keep on telling me you’re the sexy Osaka man? Ryo nii-chan, we already left Osaka many years ago and now we’re living here in Tokyo, so it means you’re not an Osakan anymore, if you’re not aware of it.”

“But! But—but we were born there Kazuya! You shouldn’t forget that!” Ryo pouted. “Whatever happens, I’m still the sexy Osaka man!”

Kazuya chuckled which made the older boy pouted childishly even more. The younger boy raised his hands in the air in defeat, “Okay! Okay! You’re the ONLY sexy Osaka man or boy!”

“OI~! I’m a man now! Not a boy!” Ryo whined as he stomped his feet exaggeratedly.

“Boys, that’s enough. Both of you are still a boy for me ne.” Shizuku interrupted with a gentle smile on her face.

Both Kazuya and Ryo turned their heads to their mother and said in synch, “Kaa-san, we’re a man now!”

Shizuku just smiled and giggled at them.

“Stop harassing your mother, boys.” A voice came which made the twin stopped glaring at their mother. “Anyways, you two look so good. I think both of you might steal the night and get to have more dates.”

“Yeah! I agree, Tou-chan!” Yuto who appeared out of nowhere chirped in happily and bounced beside their father, Miroku who was smiling widely.

“Yeah, I’m sure of it. What do you expect? Where do you think you’ll get those good looks but from us, from a beautiful mother and a handsome father.” Miroku proudly stated and laughed mischievously with his wife, Shizuku.

Kazuya, Ryo and Yuto exchanged weird and confused looks.

“Maa~Kazuya nii-chan, Ryo nii-chan, I guess you two should get going. I think Kaa-chan and Tou-chan have gone insane.” Yuto said as he scratched his head stupidly while staring at their parents who were still laughing hard.

Kazuya and Ryo looked at each other and laughed.

After that, Kazuya and Ryo bade their goodbyes to their parents and to Yuto before getting inside Ryo’s car and headed to Johnny’s Academy.

Jin…

“Kazuya? Kazuya! KAMENASHI KAZUYA?!” A loud voice came, which made Kazuya almost fell from his seat.

Kazuya quickly straightened up and turned to the voice that had just snapped him from his daze. “Ryo nii-chan?”

“You know, you should get out of the car now, we’re already here. I’ve been calling you so many times but you didn’t move. Are you okay?” Ryo who was already out of his car and facing his twin on the passenger seat asked worriedly. He knew that Kazuya had a problem, but he also knew that his twin will overcome it on his own without him butting in.

Kazuya smiled weakly before getting out of the car. “I’m totally fine, I guess I’m just a bit tired.” He lied. He knew that he was not alright. He was sad and totally upset because Jin didn’t pick him up. But he pulled himself back again and thought that maybe… maybe Jin was waiting for him on the venue.

“Okay, let’s go then. The program will start soon.” Ryo said as he closed the door and walked side by side with Kazuya.

When both of them reached the entrance, Ryo told him that he will go join his classmates, so they split up.

Kazuya stared at his twin’s retreating back before looking up and scanned the room. He smiled when he saw Yuya and Ueda waved at him vigorously.

He walked hurriedly to his two best friends’ direction with a big smile adorning his face, but before he could even reach their table, he stopped and his smile vanished as he saw something he didn’t expected to happen.

There, sitting near his two best friends’ was his Jin… Jin who was sitting next with the one and only girl Kazuya hated the most, Leah Dizon, the leader of S angels. The fact that Kazuya saw the two with each other made his body weak, but the other weren’t just sitting next to each other… they were sweetly and intimately whispering and flirting with each other which made Kazuya even more weak and he felt his chest tightened and he knew that his heart had been stabbed hard once, twice, thrice…

Though he was hurting inside, Kazuya kept his cool and straightened up with a blank look as he approached their table. But before he got to say hello to his classmates, he saw Jin and Leah stood up and walked towards the bar where the drinks were.

“Kame-chan! We’ve been waiting for you!” Yuya chirped in happily, but a concerned look printed on his smiling face.

“Yo, Kame.” Ueda greeted before patting the seat between him and Yuya.

Kazuya smiled weakly at his two best friends and at his classmates who were also in their table. “Hi guys.” He tried to sound happy but the words came unsteady.

“Come and seat, we reserve it for you.” Ueda smiled as he knew too well that Kazuya was trying his best to remain composed.

As Kazuya remained on their table, all of his classmates, especially his two best friends have tried to cheer him up. Nakamaru Yuichi who was Koki’s date had tried all their best to make stupid jokes to lighten the mood, and they were glad that all of them laughed hysterically. Kazuya couldn’t help but also laugh. He turned to Yuya and Shige who were having a little love quarrel just because of the koroke they wanted to eat. (Koroke - *croquette Japanese food, a fried mash potato.) Both Kazuya and Ueda laughed along with their classmates as Yuya kept on pouting while Shige was pleading none stop to make the younger forgive him. Kazuya was glad that he had friends and classmates like them.

After the loud laughs, Kazuya saw that Jin and Leah came back to their seats near them. He felt Ueda and Yuya held both of his hands, giving him strength to stay strong. Kazuya just smiled at them.

“So… Kamenashi-kun, where’s your date ne? I didn’t saw you bring someone.” Kazuya heard Leah sweetly and mockingly asked him with fake smile.

“Ne… Leah-chan, have you heard the word ‘Shut up’? ‘coz if you don’t I can say it to you and repeat it as long as you want me to.” Yuya snickered with a sweet dangerous smile which made Shige who was beside him shivered in fear. Shige, especially Ueda and Kazuya knew that behind those nice, bouncy, energetic sweet Yuya leads a very dangerous kitten inside that can kill with its sharp small claws.

Kazuya smiled, he almost laughed at his best friend’s attitude but he squeezed Yuya’s hand to assure the younger boy that he was okay.

Kazuya looked up and smiled coolly at Leah who was taken aback with Yuya’s sudden action. “I prepare to be alone for the night, that’s why I didn’t bring a chaperone with me.” He stated cheekily and glanced at Jin who looked away quickly.

“Oh… really? Is that it? Or is it just, no one didn’t ask you? Or maybe… you were rejected by the guys or girls you wanted to date?” Leah scoffed.

Kazuya chuckled unenthusiastically. “You’re a very funny girl, Leah.” He paused as he arched an eyebrow and sneered. “No one’s going to believe you if you say those things ne. Well, just to satisfy your curiosity… I actually have five offers, but I figured out that instead of choosing one and let the other four go, why not have them all?” Kazuya smirked and laughed naughtily even though inside he was hurting badly.

The younger boy saw how Jin grimaced with those eyes full of danger as he fisted both hands angrily. Kazuya could see the burning feeling inside the older boy like a volcano which soon to explode any moment, and if that thing happen, Kazuya will just sit still and watch him.

“Ne… Jin-chan! Let’s go dance!” Leah exclaimed as the music started to play.

“Later, I promise.” Kazuya heard the older boy said, and he saw how Jin leaned in to Leah and whispered something which made the girl giggled.

ARGH! That SLUT! And that STUPID PIG! ARGH!!! Kazuya angrily thought as he looked away.

“Ano…” A voice came which interrupted Kazuya’s fuming state.

Kazuya along with Yuya and Ueda and also his nosy friends and classmates turned their heads to the owner of the voice.

“Ano… Kamenashi-kun, I’ve been looking at you since you walked in.” The other boy said as he smiled at Kazuya genuinely.

Kazuya blinked as he looked up at the boy standing in front of him, the boy was a bit taller than him with a nice slender but a bit masculine body; he has a smooth white skin and had a very seductive handsome face with those wavy curly hairs, round eyes and kissable lips.

“Hi. You look familiar, you are?” Kazuya slowly asked.

“I’m Sawada Shin, I’m one of your brother’s classmates.” The seductive guy said as he held out his hand to Kazuya who gladly took it and was also grateful that the guy saved him from more torture he had been experiencing with the two people flirting with each other near him.

“Yeah, I remember now. I’ve seen you before. You were Ryo nii-chan’s partner in your chemistry project, and you even slept over in our house, right?” The younger boy smiled sweetly.

The seductive guy nodded and smiled widely. “Yeah, that’s me. Anyway, can I dance with you?” The older boy asked Kazuya who in return appreciated it a lot because he knew if he stayed there, he can no longer control himself from breaking because of the pain in his fragile heart.

“Sure, why not.” Kazuya accepted as he stood up and gave the guy a charming smile. “Ne… Yuya-chan, Tat-chan, minna… excuse me ne? I’ll go first in the dance floor.” He told his friends and classmates, and he also saw how those deep brown eyes of Jin burning in anger, glaring at them with intensity.

Kazuya glared back with a blank look on his face. Eat your heart out! You started it! He thought sarcastically.

After the 5^th song ended, Kazuya was shocked that another guy approached him to dance with him but he couldn’t take it anymore. He was totally exhausted so he politely refused and was glad that the other didn’t obliged him more but instead walked Kazuya back to his table.

“KYA~! Kame-chan! We thought you’re not going back anymore!” Yuya teased.

“Yeah! Every guys really like to dance with you ne! MAA~! I’m jealous! I wan—” Koki chirped in but before he could even finish what he wanted to say, someone hit his head hard. “ITAI~! NANDE? Why did you do that for, Kei-mama?!”

Koyama didn’t say a thing but just smiled hesitantly and pointed his finger behind Koki. The baldy boy pouted and caressed his injured head as he turned around but he stiffened quickly when he saw his boyfriend, Nakamaru glaring at him. OH NO! I’m doom!

Kazuya couldn’t help but laughed when he saw how Koki hurriedly hugged his boyfriend and assured him that he was the only one he loves.

“Ne, Kame-chan~ seems like those guys are ready to kill each other just to get you.” Kusano who suddenly appeared next to Kazuya informed as he pointed the group of males looking at Kazuya with hungry eyes.

“That’s what he likes anyway. I’m surprise he actually say no to those who still want to dance her.” A mocking voice interrupted the blissful chatting between Kazuya and his friends. All of their classmates looked shocked at Jin whose arms were resting on Leah’s shoulders.

Kazuya felt all of his blood went up to his head, but he kept himself cool. “Yeah, I just decided to give myself a break even for just a minute ‘coz I know I will never have a chance to get a rest later when people started to ask me to dance with them.” The younger boy replied back sarcastically as he glared at Jin who also glared back at him.

How dare he say that to me?! He’s the one who didn’t pick me up and hooked up a slut to be his date! DAMN YOU, JIN! He angrily thought.

“Jin-chan~ let’s go and dance ne?” Leah interrupted their glaring battle and asked Jin seductively.

The older boy turned to his side and smiled. “Sure, Babe.” Jin agreed before standing up and wrapped his arms around Leah’s waist and whispered something which made the girl chuckled and leaned in to kiss Jin on the cheeks.

The scene fully hurt Kazuya deeply and all of his anger came all the way again. “I’m going to tied them together, and I’ll make sure that one day I’m going to wreck that slut’s bony neck!” He mumbled angrily as he gripped the table clothe tightly.

“Don’t mind them, Kame. Just try to enjoy the night.” Kazuya turned to see Ueda smiling at him warmly.

“Anoo.. I promise myself not to ask this… but I’m really confused of the situation.” Shige interrupted which made Kazuya, Yuya and Ueda turned to him.

Kazuya heaved a deep sigh. “I… I don’t know either. It’s just… I was hoping and I was really sure that he is my partner. I waited for him for hours but he never came. And now I know, he already have another date so that’s why.” The younger boy explained shakily.

Yuya and Ueda caressed his back gently to calm him down.

Shige felt guilty. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t ask.” He lowered his head apologetically.

Kazuya smiled weakly. “It’s okay, Shige-kun. J-just… don’t tell him about it.” He said slowly, wishing that Shige would keep it. The last thing he wanted was to look pathetic in front of Jin.

When Kazuya turned to the dance floor, he felt his chest tightened even more in pain. There, he saw Jin and Leah intimately hugging and dancing with each other sweetly in the middle of the dance floor. As soon as he felt his tears will fall, Kazuya quickly stood up and told his friends that he was just going to go to the restroom. Yuya, Ueda and Shige just looked at him worriedly.

Kazuya didn’t walk straight to the restroom but instead he walked outside in the dark hallway near their building. He leaned at the wall and looked up to the starry sky as he let his tears fell from his eyes.

Why Jin? Why are you hurting me this way? Kazuya asked silently.

After the tears had slowly subsided, Kazuya fished out his handkerchief and wiped the wet traces of the tears on his cheeks.

He was about to go inside when a smiling figure appeared in front of him.

“Oh! Hi! Kamenashi-kun! You’re here!” Leah said as if she was a bit shock to find Kazuya outside.

“Yeah, so?” The boy asked coldly. He kept on preventing himself not to grab the girl’s hair and slam her on the wall.

“You know what? I’m so happy because finally! Jin-chan already told me he loves me! And now, we’re officially a couple ne!” The girl exclaimed suddenly which made Kazuya froze in shock as if a bomb exploded in front of his face.

W-what? My Jin? J-Jin? Jin loves this slut? And what? They’re now a couple? How come? I… I thought he loves me, and aren’t we a couple? Kazuya asked himself non-stop.

“Hey, aren’t you going to congratulate me?” Leah smirked devilishly.

Kazuya blankly stared at her. “Well, then. Congratulation.” He tried to steady his voice but failed miserably.

Leah leaned closer at Kazuya. “I know you love him, Kamenashi. But I’m warning you, he is my boyfriend now. So, stay away from him especially now that something happened between us. And I’m not going to let you get him from me.” The girl whispered threateningly.

Kazuya went pale as he trembled uncontrollably. “S-something h-happened?” He asked shakily, but he tried to stop his tears to come.

“Yes, MANY times… So don’t get near him.” The girl answered with a wicked smile before turning away and left the younger boy who was still too shocked to move.

Kazuya didn’t notice that his body had slowly fell on the ground with his head and back rested at the wall. He blankly stared at the darkness that surrounds him. He let the tears kept on falling on his cheeks.

Jin cheated on me. Or was he just playing with me from the very beginning? He thought miserably.

He cried. He couldn’t stop his tears anymore; he was totally hurt badly. He felt like he was slowly being stabbed straight on the heart every time the words of Leah kept repeating on his head.

Kazuya kept crying. After a couple of minutes, his chest tightened, he couldn’t breathe normally. He tried to calm himself but he couldn’t take it anymore. He wanted to leave the place and go home to forget what happened, to forget the pain, to forget that he had love someone who will just hurt him.

He slowly fished out his cell phone from his pocket and pressed a button.

“Kazuya?” A voice answered quickly.

“R-Ryo n-nii-chan…” Kazuya slowly said with trembling voice and held the phone tight.

“Hey, are you okay? Why are you crying?” Ryo asked with an obvious worried tone. Though the music was loud inside, his not a deaf not to hear his younger twin brother’s shaking voice. And he knew and felt the other’s feelings, they were after all twins, they were connected to each other.

“N-nii-chan…” Kazuya said again. “I…hallway…dark.”

“Stay there, okay? I’m coming…” Ryo said shortly before he ended the call.

Kazuya dropped his phone on the ground as he curled up into a ball and cried once again. He was sad, scared and angry but there was nothing he could do. He knew that most of the people knew he was strong but no one really knows how weak he was other than his twin, the only person who could only rescue him. He waited, he knew his brother will save him, and whenever Ryo said he will come. He will definitely come.

Not long when suddenly Kazuya heard hurried footsteps approaching him. He turned his head and slowly looked up with blurry sight because of the tears welling up on his eyes. There was a figure coming closer to him. He can’t still see the person clearly but just by the presence, he knew who it was.

“Ryo nii-chan…”

Kazuya felt a protective arm placed over his shoulder, pulling him closer.

“N-nii-chan…” Kazuya cried. He leaned closer and cried harder.

“It’s okay now, I’m here…” Ryo soothed gently as he hugged his twin. “What happened?” He asked worriedly.

“I… I-I j-just d-don’t f-feel well… I-I w-want t-to go home.” The younger boy lied.

“Okay, let’s go now… I’ll take you home.” Ryo said as he stood up and helped the younger boy to stand up but the other didn’t budge.

“Y-You don’t have to come home with me… I-I c-can go home by m-myself.” Kazuya opposed, tears still falling from his eyes.

“No. I’ll go with you.” Ryo firmly said.

“B-but nii-chan, t-this will be the l-last tim—”

“No buts, Kazuya. You’re way more important to me than a boring loud party.” Ryo snapped as he lifted his brother on his back and walked directly out of the school into the parking lot and onto his car and left.
